My 70lb Malinois/GSD mix has what I call a "drama queen stomach". Steal her sister's food? Diarrhea. Swallow a hair tie? Diarrhea. Switch her kibble? Also diarrhea. If she does something she's not supposed to (which, let's be honest, happens more often than she'd admit), we’re usually preparing for potty breaks every two hours.
She's been taking another brand's daily immune supplement we found on Amazon for about three years, and while it's supposed to support digestive health too, the difference we’ve noticed has been minimal.
The real test came when my husband, the primary dog walker in our house, was away on a work trip. Of course, that's when our Malinois decided to sneak some of our other dog's food. Instead of spending the night waiting for the inevitable "Mom, I need to go NOW!" scratching at the door, I gave her one Dr. Herbo Digestive Care chew to see if it helps.
The results:
No middle-of-the-night potty emergency. No frantic scratching at the bedroom door. I actually got to sleep through the night!
That was about four months ago, and we've been giving it to her daily ever since. Despite the occasional naughty snack she manages to find, her stomach has been so much more consistent. It's honestly become part of her daily routine.
She'll happily eat the chew as a treat, but we usually crush it into her food just to make things easier. Even our picky little Chihuahua/Terrier mix, who normally turns her nose up at almost every chew and only takes one certain treat, eats it without any complaints.
I’m not saying there’s a guaranteed result or medical effect, but seeing how well the Digestive Care chews have worked for my girls, we're seriously thinking about switching over to the rest of the Dr. Herbo supplement line. It's rare to find products that both dogs do well on, but these have definitely earned a permanent spot in our house. Highly recommended!

I use this supplement for dinner time. Mixed with a bit of pumpkin powder. Both my large dog’s poops have been solid and overall healthy. It’s been a big help.
