We got the diamond heist mystery as a gift. It was a really fun time! There were some spelling mistakes, but overall it was very well done.

Comment about the bank heist :
Too many points haven't been explained. A lot of material is presented, but little is actually useful.
I do not agree with the ending and the main theft of the case; other suspects would have also been probable.
Finishing the case by saying "financial trouble" is such an easy ending.
Not convinced ,,,

Well thought through, we missed a few key evidences because we didn't use the hints, but we got to the same correct answer, solving the case!

It was really fun, would definitely buy a new case!

We love these, and have just completed our fourth case. Really engaging, so much detail and cleverly done. Looking forward to doing the next one!

I bought now the second case from them and I am very satisfied. The delivery to Slovakia was okay, up to 2 weeks maximum, and the cases are amazing. I do recomend 100% 😇

Have solved 2 of the 3 cases we received so far. Really well produced, interesting and complex enough while being possible. Definitely worth it

Did the first mystery, yacht murder. Very basic, clues very obvious and didn’t make sense at the same time. We discussed for a long time if the makers were just trying to throw us off or if it really was that bad. Took us out of the experience and got really disappointed

It was great fun to try and solve puzzles and all the printed materials are very well made. Though the order did took a bit longer than expected. And we think that there was some typo/ mistakes in the name in the timeline which created small plot holes in the story.

The instructions were easy to follow. The clues were just right. It was entertaining.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience deserves one.
I ordered a “Detective for a Day” package and never received anything. After waiting over a month, I contacted support. They replied once and promised to resend the package, which gave me some confidence.
However, that was the last time I heard from them.
It has now been over three months in total. No product, no tracking, no update, and no response to my follow-up messages. At this point, it’s difficult not to question whether this business actually fulfills orders at all.
This goes beyond a simple delay. When a company takes payment, promises a reshipment, and then completely disappears, it seriously damages trust.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering. Based on my experience, I cannot confirm that this company delivers what it sells.
I am now pursuing a refund through my payment provider.

Was definitely abit of fun, we finished the bank heist which was good.
Would definitely recommend getting 1 or 2 to solve.

Ordered Detective for a Day on March 21 (shipped March 23) as a birthday gift for my husband. Delivery was promised within 7-10 days; it’s now well over a month later, the birthday has passed, and nothing has arrived.

I regularly receive international deliveries without issue, so this is clearly not a general shipping problem.

Customer service has been extremely disappointing. I’ve contacted them multiple times and keep getting the same generic response to “wait another week or two.” Daniel, in particular, was dismissive and offered no apology or solution. Even a refund was refused because the item was “already dispatched.”

The premise and materials looked great and we were really looking forward to trying to solve the case. The technology didn't work, the sites and pages you needed to solve the case were unavailable or belonged to real people. Without the online clues you couldn't solve the case. We could access the surveillance footage but expecting people to notice and read the numberplate of a car, that none of our group could see with our specs on, is unrealistic. Good idea, doesn't work in practice.

I think the game would have been more fun but one of the major clues in the game (I wont say which one) was a website that wasn't working. That made solving the case very difficult, basically impossible. I emailed the company to complain about this and they never replied. I would say, purchase it if you are willing to take the risk that things will be missing and that you wont receive any customer service after.

Update: After a chaser, they eventually did reply and admitted that the website had been taken down and that it was now up and running, which is obviously no help to me anymore. They apologised, however they offered no goodwill gesture (eg a discount on any future purchases), which is what it would have taken for me to make another purchase or recommend them. I understand that mistakes happen, but when you spend good money on a product you expect it to work as promised, or else to receive some form of compensation.

Like many other reviews here, there’s postage issues. I’m not sure why we can’t just pay for the shipping and tracking. I ordered 16th march and was sent an order number confirming it was “shipped” by the site (no Aus post or international) there’s no updates and it’s now 7th April and I’m having to chase up.

If the product isn’t there, just pop a “email when back” on it.

I get the feeling they are placing orders to an offshore warehouse, receiving, rebranding and reposting. Like a third party selling site because otherwise these long waits don’t make much sense.

If I can get an update on order #122919 that would be real good…

I can’t review the item because I haven’t received it but there is definitely something fishy going on here. Use another company, check reviews and don’t make the mistake some of us have here. It’s expensive

Amazing set - me and my partner had an amazing evening playing. So well thought out and fun.

Just completed’world your’. A little more taxing but yet again thoroughly enjoyable. Took a few hours and the detail is brilliant.

We completed the graduation party with our kids (12 & 14) and found it great! I wouldn’t recommend it for younger teens without adults as they may need some guidance. Great activity to play together.
