Great platform to manage your family cashflow and budget. Very accurate in classifying transactions. I've used it for 12 months and it has got better and better.

This is the money organisation app I have been searching for for years. I tried so many other ways (many different spreadsheets/Tiller) this is so seamless and easy to use and they are constantly updating it. Couldn’t rate this any higher. Well worth it

I discovered Billroo earlier in the year leading ip to my retirement. I found it very useful in setting a budget & monitoring my income & expenses each month. I can export the data if required & it has a handy AI feature. A free trial offer also helps!

Found this app great for tracking your budget. Only suggestion is maybe develop to allow for retirees, weather self funded or not.
There are slight differences when you are retired. We worked around this but it would open up to a wider audience.

App is really well designed - UI is intuitive, and it's the right level of information without being overwhelming for expenditure tracking. Lacking some features that would be really helpful (like splitting transactions) and the occasional bug comes up, but the support team is very responsive.

The fact that Billroo connects to my accounts and draws data without me having to input means I don't miss a thing. I also love being able to add my own 'off-grid' transactions. I love being able to look at how I'm tracking over any set period of time, with graphs, percentages, $ figures etc. This is a comprehensive and simplified answer to the question of, 'Where are we at financially?' I recommend this app to anyone who 'Just don't know where all the money goes.' Get Billroo to measure it, because what you measure you can control, and what you can control you can steer toward a better future, even if that only means financial survival!

It’s easy to use, links with my bank accounts and lets me know my exact budget position. Their customer service is wonderful, they really do care that you get good old fashioned customer service, something that is sorely missing in most businesses these days

I spent a lot of time researching financial platforms before choosing Billroo, and after a full setup and a guided session with one of the founders, I’m very confident I made the right decision.

The guided setup alone is a standout. It’s rare to get that level of direct access, and even rarer for it to be genuinely useful. It wasn’t a sales call; it was a proper working session that helped validate and refine my setup. That gave me a lot of confidence in both the product and the team behind it.

As a designer, the interface was a big factor for me. It’s clean, logical, and considered. Nothing feels cluttered or confusing, which makes a huge difference when you’re working with a lot of financial data. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into how everything is structured.

The built-in AI is also surprisingly well trained. It actually helps, rather than getting in the way, especially when categorising transactions and maintaining consistency.

A major advantage for Australians is the ability to link local bank accounts properly. This is something many platforms struggle with or don’t support well, and Billroo handles it seamlessly.

What really stood out to me, though, is the sense that the platform is actively evolving. There’s a clear roadmap and ongoing development, including features like the upcoming net worth tracking, which will make the system even more complete.

It also makes a difference knowing the founders are based in Australia and have built something specifically for this market. There’s a real gap here, and they’ve addressed it in a way that feels thoughtful and well executed.

After thoroughly setting up and testing Billroo, I’d confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a serious, well-designed financial platform in Australia. The product is strong, and the people behind it are just as impressive.

Great customer service and provide responses in quick time with responses that are easy to understand.

I have had budgets most my life and I have worked at keeping them valid but it was on a spreadsheet without live bank feeds and this led to unforeseen problems now and then but then I came across this fantastic program called Billroo which changed everything.
The AI component is awesome. It’s like having someone there keeping an eye on everything and gives you updates and more. This is a great program. I use it with my spreadsheet and it works so well. I am very happy with this app.

What i like the most is how their AI tracks the transaction and tries to link against your expenses.

I really like this tool as the bank feeds will automatically link the transaction to the expenses and make me realise how much i really spend on certain types of expenses and gives me a realization of what i should do moving forward.
