While the watch itself is beautiful, it stopped working after only three weeks. Getting it repaired means that you, the customer, have to pay for all shipping and insurance to send it back to the manufacturer. Looking online, this looks like a common problem with these watches. I cannot recommend this watch due to poor quality control.

Purchased an Alexander Dauvin opal faced watch from a store in Cooper Pedy while on holidays. When I got home it stopped working, I sent it to their Sydney store & they said nothing wrong with it but replaced watch, I paid postage both ways. The second watch also stopped working after one wear so I ended up sending watch to another watch maker & they replaced the workings & it hasn’t missed a beat. My personal experience I would not buy another watch from them.

Maybe little darker than in pictures but it's dope watch. It's quite subtle bling but that is good thing.

Total scam. Never received package. Logistics was nightmarish there was no actual tracking and all the help hotlines and services require Australian specific metrics to progress and I’m in USA. No recourse to fix issue that has a result and all attempts to contact have been completely ignored.

I placed an order over 3 weeks ago. I did not receive a confirmation email that I placed an order. A week later they sent me an email for tracking. The package has sat for over a week and not updated. I've reached out to the company and they have not emailed me back so now I'm out over $300 and have no watch and dont know if I ever will or if I'll even get my money back since the company won't communicate with me. I regret so bad using this company.

Its actually a really dazzling. Very lovely and the opals are ridiculously beautiful

My girlfriend loved the watch I got for her. She loves opals so having one with an opal watch face was perfect

When I purchased the watch the description read "Australia's finest opal watch collection" so my expectations were sufficiently high. The watch I chose was £254, on promotion to £204.

Alarm bells started to ring when I received the watch as the import tax certificate valued the watch at £30. The watch feels like a piece of costume jewellery, rather than Austria's finest opal watch.

Alexander Dauvin emailed me twice asking to write a review, so I have emailed them twice saying I'm unhappy. I've had no response to either email HOWEVER the description of the watch has now changed to "Australia's favourite opal watch collection" - so they have obviously received, read and taken action on the email but have made no effort to make things right with me. Very disappointing.

This was my first time ordering an opal watch from Alexander Dauvin.
The online order procedure is easy and delivery smooth as expected.

Bs service. Sender didn't provide whether usps or private service would be used for service. Didn't get an update until after the package was sent back to the sender, granted this is a foreign country with weeks of travel time. I could have picked up my package for a week at the local sorting center and had no info from the tracking service that this was possible. Will never buy from this sender again

Most beautiful opal cufflinks. Shimmering with all different colours, with prominent purple standing out. The gold looks great as well.

Aus post lost the first set of cufflinks, and Alexander Dauvin customer service responded within the hour, and sent a new pair out straight away.

Looking forward to purchasing more watches and accessories from Alexander Dauvin in the future.

Watch is nice but has a misprint in the word timepiece on the face. We'll see how support goes.

The watch is beautiful, but we are very sad that the clasp seems to be faulty.

Fast delivery without problems although shipment was to Europe
