Order was cancelled by the seller due…
Order was cancelled by the seller due to lack of stock, but the refund was not processed in time.
I had to contact them multiple times and eventually initiate a chargeback via my bank.
Communication is slow and unclear. Be careful when ordering items that may not be in stock.
UPD (18 May 2026):
Before the purchase, I was promised a discount on the bicycle. After the payment, I was informed that the bike was being assembled by highly qualified specialists and that I simply had to wait a little longer.
Only afterwards was I informed that the bicycle was actually out of stock and that the order had been cancelled.
As of 18 May — more than one month later — I still have not received the refund on my account.
The explanation about “Belgian banks taking longer” does not change the fact that this situation has been handled very poorly and with very unclear communication.
Update (22.05.2026):
AE-Trading states that I have received the refund. This is incorrect.
At the time of writing this review, I had not received the €930.02 refund and therefore had to open a dispute with my bank (Beobank).
The screenshot provided by AE-Trading only showed that a refund request had been created and was "In behandeling" (processing). It did not prove that the refund had actually been completed and credited to my card.
If the refund was successfully processed, AE-Trading should be able to provide the ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) or an official confirmation from Mollie showing that the funds were transferred to my card issuer.
The main issue was not only the stock shortage, but also the lack of clear communication and the excessive delay in resolving the refund.

Update: The bike did arrive in the end but with a scratch. The owner checked up on us later on and proposed to offer a free bike lock which we accepted (and received). To be honest I do feel like they try their best and the issue is with the transporter.

The bike was paid weeks ago and in the meanwhile they promised the delivery already 5 times. They blame an incorrect delivery by PostNL but we never received any track & trace code.
Also they refuse to pick up their phone so you are left alone.
We are ready for a long legal battle.

Very Poor quality - Don't waste your money
I am posting this as a follow‑up to my earlier review regarding false promises about next‑day delivery and receiving the wrong size.
After using the e‑bike for around 6 months, the battery suddenly stopped charging. The battery and charger appear to be very poor quality. I contacted customer support, and they asked me to send the battery back for repair. They provided a tracking number and assured me the battery would be repaired and returned within one week.
It has now been over two weeks, and I have received no update or response despite following up. This lack of communication is very frustrating.
I purchased an e‑bike to make my daily life easier, but trusting this company has turned out to be a big mistake.
Additionally, after leaving a negative review, I started receiving frequent phone calls asking me to remove the review instead of properly resolving the issue. This is not the right way to handle customer feedback.
Overall, the product quality and after‑sales service have been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend based on my experience.

While an indication may have been given, this is never a guaranteed fixed timeline.
Regarding communication, we can see that there has been contact from our side, and we continue to follow up on your case. It is not correct to suggest that no support is being provided.
We also want to address your statement about phone calls. Our intention is never to pressure customers into removing reviews, but to resolve issues directly and ensure cases are handled properly. We stand by that approach.
As for product quality, all our e-bikes and components are supplied under warranty, and any defect is handled through repair or replacement in line with our policy.
