We were given a Mystery Picnic as a wedding gift and we chose to use it on our wedding anniversary. The whole day was perfect from start to finish. The emails tantalised us about what was to come and we embraced it wholeheartedly by waiting until the morning of our experience to begin. We loved the puzzles/quizzes to find each destination and the conversation starters along the way. Each vendor knew we were coming and had our goodies ready. We loved the variety and quality of products supplied and the suggestion for the final picnic destination was perfect. We had chosen Burleigh Heads and the weather smiled on us as well, providing glorious blue skies and sparkling ocean. It was the best day ever! THANK YOU to all the team involved. This is a fabulous concept and we have already recommended it to our friends and family.

Brilliant from start to finish.

My husband and I were gifted a Mystery picnic by our adult children. We used it when we went away for our 28th wedding anniversary and it was a perfect strategy. It gave us time to connect, conversation starters to refresh our relationship, and no planning needed by either of us! We really enjoyed travelling around seeing all the different places of interest. The clues were fun and pretty easy so no stress! I appreciated the optional side quests—we had plenty of time but another weekend we might have needed to move through things a little faster. The food was great, and the shop staff were friendly and helpful. The final spot for the picnic was a lovely, quiet, idyllic spot near a lake. So good! I would love to do more mystery picnics in a whole bunch of places.

Don’t be fooled by the cuteness of “mystery picnic” or any sense of a scavenger hunt. It was nothing more than a glorified grocery run, with the dumbest route designed to get you away from any nice scenery, and the opportunities for the participating vendors to upsell you.

The locations:

We had 4 stops in our picnic experience. 1 had water view, 1 was a tourist location, and the other 2 were just 60 minutes horrific drive on the motorway.

And we are central coast locals! We could have had much nicer food items, for a quarter of the price, in less than one tenth of the driving time.

The value:

The items we collected included: 1 piece of bakery made ciabatta, 2 scoops of ice cream, 1 small piece of cheese, 1 small antipasto box, 1 bag of crisps and 2 can of coke. The total value of these were barely $50.

A $160 price tag for these items could possibly be tolerated if it was put in a nicely arranged basket, in a convenient location. But no, you need to prepare everything yourself, cooler bag, cutlery, glasses, everything. And you were sent on a stupid drive - away from any nice scenery, and one hour return trip on the motorway to opposite directions.

If you are locals, do yourself a favour and just pop into your own favorite grocery store.

If you are tourists, save yourself the stupid drive and go see something nice the central coast has to offer.

Lovely experience from start to finish- very well organised and great food at each stop

We loved this! Did this experience in Greenwich, which is not an area of London we know very well. The party was me and my husband with our adult son and his girlfriend. All of us enjoyed the adventure and solving the clues and were very surprised (happily) about the amount of food we got. We certainly weren't hungry afterwards. The food was easily collected and it was of excellent quality. We would definitely do another.

A mystery picnic was bought for me and we took it on the August Bank Holiday in Canterbury. We thought it was brilliant. We were taken to places that we wouldn't have found on our own and they had the wow factor. The food was great as we were gluten free and that was catered for. It was definately worth it. We booked a hotel and made a weekend of it as we live in Cambridgeshire.

The website was easy to navigate. Food preferences were clearly listed and the mystery picnic was fun! Delicious food at all the stops.

Great fun experience exploring a new area

A well organised treasure hunt to find items for your picnic, it was fun solving the clues and seeing the amazing produce in the small retailers of the town. The quality of the food was great and all the vendors were friendly and encouraging for our hunt. The picnic spot chosen was stunning and we had a lovely hour eating lunch and looking at the view.

I was given the experience as a gift and will definitely be gifting to some of my nearest and dearest, it was such a lovely thing to do and the food we collected around Oxford was amazing!
Love that you pick your city and explore parts you may not otherwise have seen.

Absolutely AMAZINGly fun and unique anniversary adventure! This was a truly unforgettable celebration of our love by exploring Newport through different eyes. We learned new history and discovered so many new spaces around the city. Every single vendor that was part of our AmazingCo Mystery Picnic made us feel like longtime friends! They expected us and were happy to have us join them. The food was delicious throughout and made for quite a feast at the end. Our picnic spot, facing the water and sailboats on a gorgeous day, was like a movie scene! What made this adventure so special were the reflection "intermissions" throughout the day. It asked us questions that made us travel down memory lane and share our appreciation and love for one another. Lovely, lovely, lovely. We'd love to do this again as a way to get to know cities we travel to throughout the country.

We did the amazing co experience for couple. It was gifted to us as a wedding present last year. We used it last month as part of our wedding anniversary. We chose the Hebden Bridge location this was a driving route but driving wasn’t any longer than 15 minutes and we didn’t do as much driving as we thought there would. E be so that was nice. I can honestly say it’s such a good idea something so different. I was a little unsure what to expect. There isn’t a set time when to start your experience you can do it anytime between 10:00 and 13:00. The idea is to solve clues on your phone that’s related to the shops where you’ll pick your food items but it doesn’t stop there. Between the questions there’s chances to explore the town and fun little activities to do in between. We had tasks such as sitting down and discussing our year in review, speaking about word and love affirmations, speaking about our 5 year plan. I think this is a great idea when doing this as a couple because it really does get you talking. In terms of the picnic items I couldn’t believe how much food we had. From sandwiches, pork pies and milkshakes from a farm shop to sausage rolls, hummus crisps, chocolate tart, real lemonade from a local vegan shop and even a little trip to a sweet shop to collect fudge and everything we tried was so nice. I’d specifically requested no cheese or olives as these are mine and my partner’s worse food nightmare. Upon booking it does state that they can’t accommodate all food advises and I was unsure if they would be able to do this with it not being a food allergy but they did and I thought that in itself was fantastic it meant no food went to waste. As for the location for our picnic we finished up in a park we’d never been or heard of before and it was lovely, really relaxing and somewhere on our list to take our son. I’d definitely do the experience again in a heartbeat because there is other locations to choose from. I’d never heard of the amazing co picnic before and was baffled to how my auntie came across it but what a great find it was. Would 100% recommend it whether your looking for a gift for someone or wanting something different and new to do. Thank you amazing co for our experience.

We had a fab experience doing the Hebden Bridge and Pennine Towns mystery picnic.
1 veggie and 1 'normal' picnic. At some venues we had a choice, in others our treats were pre selected for us. We ended up with plenty of food!
The clues were fun to solve and it helped us explore an area we have talked about visiting for a while.

The clues and the questions in-between were real conversation starters. The trail took me to places I have never been before which was great and the staff at the businesses where all so welcoming. We will definitely be doing another one. Thank you xx

We booked an AmazingCo Mystery Picnic to celebrate our friend’s 50th birthday, and we had such an incredible time!
The whole experience was so well organized. The clues were fun and challenging to solve, and the food was plentiful and delicious. We did the Mystery Picnic in Elora, Ontario, and the beautiful scenery made the experience even more special.
Every venue we visited was so welcoming, kind, and friendly. It was such a fun and unique way to spend the day with friends, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different!
Definitely an experience we won’t forget!

My boyfriend and I have done two of these mystery picnics so far on our anniversaries and they have on both occasions been so much fun and a wonderful day out. I would highly recommend these for anyone wanting to exploring different areas of NSW.

My only wish is that they had more different picnics as at this rate my boyfriend and I are going to run out :)

This Mornington Peninsula picnic experience was amazing. Every detail from the clues to the stops was well planned and thought out. It was so much FUN. My daughter was ecstatic with her 5th Birthday Rumi disco party. The entertainer (Olga) was sensational. She kept the children entertained and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, children and the parents! Highly recommend not just the company but Olga too. The whole way through from the booking to the party, everyone I interacted with were warm, helpful and made the whole experience a truly pleasant one. Thank you for making my daughter’s day super special and memorable.
