Contacted Carexpert next day they contacted me with price they could get a new jaecoo j5. A really good saving excepted the price and contract from the dealer reviewd within an hour ,and deposit paid .We also had a car to trade which the best price was sourced in 48 hours .It was kind of difficult with us as I was buying for my daughter who lived 4 hours driving away ,but car expert were very patient dealing with two people myself and my daughter .withinin 2 weeks every thing was settled and my daughter has got her new car .Would have been quicker but we were waiting for the car to arrive in the country. A very professional company to deal with if your looking for a competitive price for a new car .

Did they get a good price? probably. I didnt shop around similar providers. Was certainly better than I was likely to get as a private buyer.

Support through handover? ZERO!
They claim “Deal Assurance” and “Lifetime Advocacy”. Worse than Zero!

When I was told by the dealer after no comma from CarExpert the car was ready I went to collect. After the usual sales handover performance as I was about to take the keys I was informed they lost the spare key and transponder.

Quite an issue according to Fair Trading and MTA. I called CarExpert for help. Firslty was handled by some imbecile claiming he was a mechanic and dealer principle who said they wont help. He palmed me to a state manager who said he would call the dealer and sort it out and call me back. The dealer told me this state manager said it’s for the dealer handle and never called me back. I had to personally document and have the dealer agree to a process to correct even up to replacing all lock barrels in the car, damage free.

Once I signed a deal with the dealer CarExpert has been absent and refused to step in as they claim they will in their marketing materials, a clear breach of consumer law and misleads consumers into a false sense of support.

Whilst I cannot vouch for other providers you can read through the negatives yourself. When things go wrong or not smoothly and quickly they abandon you.

All singing and dancing on youtube, and social media, brag about their stellar reputation, and behind the scenes are merely used car sales tactics.

Just wait for the usual canned “we should have done” reply as all others have with negative comments received. It’s all words and no substance.

Use these guys with full knowlege you are on your own after you sign with a dealer, who also appears to be of similar ilk.

Update - as said canned we shoudn have done better. And did you call me to say that? No. Nuff said. Actions speak words dont.

Was easy to organise once i had decided on car. Any issues were promptly sorted with no fuss. Price was negotiated on my behalf and was better than what i could of done myself - had extras thrown in on top of a good price

Sam was great. Organised quotes and put us in contact with a dealer that is responsive and capable. We have purchased 3 cars to date and another 2 will be bought before the year end.

Bullying and belittling techniques to strong arm you into placing and order for a car through them.
I recently enquired about a car, offering full exclosure that I needed to go through one of three lease companies due to employer contracts. The price procured was no where near what one of the lease company's offered but when I disclosed the best price I was told 'they were very close' and the next step was to place an order for the car and see which lease company gave the best price. I said I was not placing orders for any cars until I knew what I would be up for on a monthly payment (what a surprise!). I was told there was 4-500 people a day saving money through Car expert and I obviously was not interested in saving money like hundreds of others. This is not correct, what I am not interested is signing an order for a car that I do not know what my monthly payment will be. He told me it was subject to finance so didnt matter anyway. I told the person there was no need to be rude, but he was obviously upset that I would not follow a procedure that impacts my finances without knowing what that impact would be. What a waste of time, and didnt appreciated the white shoe sales technique. Stay away.

My experience with Car Expert was amazing. I had become disillusioned by my interactions with the car dealerships so having Car Expert take over that aspect was sensational. Raphael was able to secure a discount of $7500 which is incredible. Raphael was friendly, professional and efficient when working quickly to obtain the best deal for a Mitsubishi Outlander for me. Lee is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and was able to organise a extremely good finance deal for me that fit my budget. When there was a hiccup at the last hurdle with a miscalculated invoice from the dealership Raphael swooped in and had it sorted within the hour. My kids and I are beyond happy with our new ride and the fact that I did not have to contend with any pushy dealership reps which was a godsend. I highly recommend the team at Car Experts.

Guy contacted me regarding finding me best price on sr hilux, assured me would not take him more than 4 hours to get back to me with best price in WA. Waited 2 days now and no return info/ call regarding new vehicle purchase, if he couldn’t find a better price than I could personally at any Toyota dealership at least have the common courtesy to let me know, would not recommend these chancers again, buyer beware.
