It’s now 41 working days waiting for a refund for goods that by their admission were never dispatched. Not good enough

Ordered goods 18th August, payment taken 24th August. The goods were not despatched, when I chased up the delivery I was told they were now out of stock. I was emailed to say the refund would be 3-5 days, when it didn’t arrive they said this was very optimistic and it would take approximately 10 days. This is to refund goods that they didn’t despatch and should not have taken payment for.
I have spent hours on the phone to them unfortunately you speak to a call centre and all the people are very sympathetic but it isn’t possible to speak to anyone who can actually help.
Maybe they are going bankrupt
Still no refund
