TOTAL AND COMPLETE SCAM. SEND THIS CHILDS TOY BACK NOW AND MAKE THESE FRAUDSTERS PAY!

This company and everyone involved with it should be prosecuted for consumer fraud and imprisoned. This device is nothing more than a plastic box with an electric motor that turns a plastic fan...thats it! It has no refrigerant, no evaporator, no condensor or compressor. Just a cheap plastic fan that could run for days and not lower the temperature even one degree in an object the size of a doghouse. Nothing but fraud that was likely orchestrated by a crooked businessman who gets these things made for a buck a piece by the tens of thousands at some chinese sweatshop. Even the company that made those deceptive commercials for this thing should be prosecuted for false advertisement and fraud. Anyone contemplating wasting your money on this childs toy....DON'T! and anyone who has already bought this scam product should immediately file a fraud report to their credit card companies and perform an immediate charge back. I seriously doubt the scam companies selling these things even want them back cause the shipping charges would cost 5 times what this thing is worth. Every single person who got scammed by this piece of crap and the scumbags who sell them should be outraged and act accordingly. I certainly intend to. Sellers beware!!

Horrible experience with Guns.com

Horrible experience with Guns.com. I ordered a very expensive gun from them, paid for it through their checkout system, then instantly had the funds removed from my account. An hour and a half later i get a message from them that the gun had already been sold and they then cancelled my order(an hour and a half later!) Yeah right, this was a very hard to find gun and i would bet anything that they cancelled my order and sold it to another party that had preferential status with them.
WHAT A TOTAL AND COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!!

Hello Tim,

We are very sorry that your recent order was canceled.

We reached out to you so we could look into your allegation of your firearm being sold to someone else with preferential status, and canceling your order, but we did not hear back. That type of behavior would not be tolerated and we would love get additional information from you.

Although it doesn't happen very often, sometimes we have to cancel an order because the item was not available to fulfill when we went to ship the order.

We definitely appreciate the feedback and hope you reach out to us to provide more information about your experience. Our service team can be reached using our help center here - https://www.guns.com/help.

Review of Celestron

Bought a 300 dollar useless celestron product

I paid hundreds of dollars for a celestron skyscout personal planetarium. I find out a few days after buying this thing that celestron ceased all factory updates for this device back in 2015, rendering the entire device completely useless. Multitudes of other people who purchased this super expensive machine now have a 300 dollar paperweight as well. It's utterly inconceivable that a company would market such a sophisticated and expensive machine then totally walk away from any further support. Celestron hung us all out to dry on this complete waste of money and a class action lawsuit should be filed over this. This total disregard for basic customer service is reprehensible on every possible level imagineable. I will never ever again spend another nickel with this poor excuse of a company. I should have taken the money i threw away on this worthless product and donated it to charity, at least there would then be some justification for my now empty pockets. I literally cannot sell this skyscout for any amount of money because celestron allowed these devices to be of no further use to anyone who is unfortunate enough(like me!) to own one. This company clearly illustrates total negligence at it's finest!

Review of Cheaper Than Dirt

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

History keeps repeating itself here!

Same old deceit as before with this company. They will try to explain their insane prices as just the law of supply and demand. Raising prices 300 or 400 percent is not supply and demand - it's simply price gouging that is instigated by pure old fashioned greed. We should all remember cheaper than dirt when things go back to normal, remember them as the company who took advantage of their customers when many other online firearm supply stores have only raised their prices a reasonable amount during this temporary shortage. Cheaper than dirt did exactly the same thing back in 2013 during the ammo situation during that time too. I personally will never spend anymore money with this company and have read that countless numbers of other people are jumping ship as well. C.T.D may not care about any of this during their boom time of record sales but this shortage will pass eventually and they will have to go back to dealing with the competition for consumer sales. Many many of these consumers will definitely not forget the way this business took advantage of their customer base during a time when many of us needed all of the help and ethical business practices that we can could get. Cheaper than dirt has proven yet again that profit over people is their primary objective. Very Sad indeed!

Review of Opticsplanet

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND A HUGE MESS! first experience with optics planet…

My first experience with optics planet will be my last. I placed an order recently that listed the products as in stock and ships in 4 to 7 business days. The next day when i checked the status to make sure the order had gone through i received a notice that these items were not in stock and will ship in 5 to 7 weeks. Optics planet apparently has virtually nothing on their shelves and is accepting orders for products they do not have nor know when they will. I have made 2 attempts to cancel this ridiculous order only to receive generic form letters both times. A little advice to optics planet would be to not take orders on what you don't have, hire more help or refuse anymore oders until you can handle what you have in front of you right now. They obviously refuse to pass up the opportunity to make a buck at the expense of the huge numbers of customers who are likely just as aggravated as i am. I just want to cancel my order with this company and write them off as a valuable lesson learned, apparently i will not be able to even accomplish this either. AVOID!....WISH I HAD!
