⭐ 1/5 — Very disappointing experience with Bunches & Stems

I purchased a Birthday Combo I through Bunches & Stems Australia, paying a total of $126.91, including $24.95 for delivery. I placed the order through Bunches & Stems, however the order was ultimately fulfilled/sent through Bloomex.

Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like what I expected when ordering a birthday gift through Bunches & Stems.

The order was not delivered as expected. After delivery issues, the recipient was contacted directly and advised that the delivery had been rescheduled. I was also emailed confirming that the delivery details had been discussed with her and that she was expecting the delivery.

Despite this, the order was not delivered to her at all. Instead, it was sent to a post office in a cardboard box for collection.

I then had to drive approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to collect the birthday gift myself, despite having paid $24.95 specifically for delivery.

When I opened the box, I was extremely disappointed. The flowers were packaged inside the cardboard box without what I considered an appropriate water source, and the chocolates/food items were loose in the bottom of the box rather than beautifully presented in the gift basket shown when I placed my order.

The finished product looked completely different from the Birthday Combo I believed I was purchasing.

This was supposed to be a special birthday surprise. Instead, the recipient was contacted, the surprise was spoiled, the delivery didn’t happen as promised, and I had to collect a poorly presented box myself.

I purchased and paid Bunches & Stems, so from a customer’s perspective, they are the business I trusted with my order. The fact that it was fulfilled through Bloomex doesn’t change the experience I had after purchasing through Bunches & Stems.

I supplied photographs showing the condition and presentation of what I received and requested a full refund of $126.91. Rather than refunding me, I was offered $30 store credit for a future purchase.

After an experience like this, store credit requiring me to purchase from the business again is not an acceptable resolution for me.

Had I known that my $126.91 birthday order would end up as flowers and chocolates in a cardboard box at a post office that I had to drive over an hour to collect myself, I would never have placed the order.

I have photos of what was advertised compared with what was actually received, along with the correspondence regarding the delivery.

Based on my experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend Bunches & Stems Australia.

⭐ 1/5 — Extremely disappointing experience with Bloomex Australia

I ordered a Birthday Combo I as a birthday surprise and paid $126.91, including $24.95 for delivery. Unfortunately, the entire experience was incredibly disappointing from the delivery through to the product I ultimately received.

The order was supposed to be delivered to the recipient. After the original delivery did not occur as expected, Bloomex contacted the recipient directly and advised that delivery had been rescheduled for Friday. I was then emailed confirming they had spoken with her, the delivery details had been confirmed, and she was expecting it.

Despite that, it still wasn’t delivered to her.

Instead, the order was sent to a post office in a cardboard box for collection. I then had to drive approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to collect it myself, completely defeating the purpose of paying $24.95 for a professional flower delivery service.

What I collected was just as disappointing.

The flowers were inside a cardboard box without an appropriate water source or the type of presentation I expected. The chocolates/food items were loose in the bottom of the box, rather than presented in the gift basket shown in the product advertising.

The overall presentation was nowhere near what I believed I was purchasing based on the advertised Birthday Combo.

To make matters worse, when Bloomex spoke with the recipient about the delivery issue, she was apparently told she would receive a free upgrade. There was no apparent upgrade in what was ultimately received.

This was meant to be a beautifully presented birthday surprise delivered directly to someone special. Instead, the recipient was contacted, the surprise was spoiled, the promised delivery didn’t happen, and I ended up making a lengthy trip to collect a poorly presented cardboard box myself.

Had I wanted flowers and chocolates loosely placed in a cardboard box for me to collect from a post office, I would not have paid $126.91 for a professional flower and gift delivery service.

I provided Bloomex with photographs showing what was received and requested a full refund to my original payment method. Their response was to apologise and offer me a $30 store credit for a future purchase.

I declined the store credit. After this experience, asking me to spend money with the business again is not an acceptable resolution to my complaint.

I have retained the order confirmation, photographs and correspondence and have included photos so prospective customers can compare the advertised presentation with what was actually received.

Based on my experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend Bloomex.

Great app with one frustrating limitation

Revolut has a fantastic banking app — easy to use, intuitive, and packed with great features. I initially got it to manage my pay and everyday spending, and it works really well for that.

The only downside (and it’s a big one for me) is the limit on how much money you can transfer into the account each week. My income exceeds the weekly transfer limit, which means I still have to use another bank account and continue paying fees there — kind of defeats the purpose of switching entirely to Revolut.

If they could lift or increase that limit, it would be close to perfect.

Great workout gear

Being a personal trainer it’s hard to find comfortable tights.. And I have always been a Nike person but since I haven’t been able to get the tights I always bought and I have seen a lot of people wearing your clothes so I thought I would give your brand a go.. I totally am in love with your clothing (very fussy person right here) I already own 9 pairs of tights. I also have recommended your clothing to my clients that have also purchased and are in love as well.. we rock our tights together.. Totally comfortable and the love the material..
thanks for making such great workout wear..
