My youngest daughter asked me to write a piece about my life in the RAF and thereafter. The piece grew into something larger than a dissertation that I thought would look better in book format. I chose Doxzoo because the site was the easiest to follow and use, with fantastic prices. The three copies of the book arrived as advised. Shopped at the Beaston store on 9 November 2024, bought two pizzas for use today, 11th November. When we went to prepare the pizzas the use by date was 9th November. These should have been reduced on Saturday and weren't. During the same shop, the loose carrots were found to be sprouting, well past their sell by date (no longer displayed, so left longer on the shelf), the Spanish onions were soft and beginning to brown. The store no longer sells Lavattza Intenso coffee, no longer sells Bird's Eye frozen peas, instead they've been replaced with Sainsbury's own garden peas that have the colour, texture and taste of cattle cake. One portion cooked the rest were thrown out.

I don't know what has happened to Sainsbury of late. The focus seems to be profit instead of being one of the premier grocers in this country that is focused on providing fine quality food. Please go back to the premier grocers you used to be. I find this very concerning.

Swift, easy, with a seamless progression at both airports made the whole travelling experience great. Chris the captain from Verona to East Midlands had a great sense of humour which helped when slightly delayed and he swiftly renegotiated a new return slot. Always a pleasure to fly with Jet2. Shopping on line and placing an order for a number of items, a shopper would expect their order to be processed by the nearest store that has ALL of the ordered items. The last two but one of our weekly orders were brought with items not available. We asked why the items weren't available, we were told that the store hasn't received the goods you've ordered despite them being advertised as being available. When we asked where our order had come from we were informed that it had come from a smaller store in a different county, it being physically further away from the major Sainsbury store in our own city. We need what we order, not what's convenient for the stores' management of their online ordering system. We pay for home delivery, its not free, so please change your system so that we the customer has delivered what we've ordered. Thank you.

A great service that is easy to book and is smooth and efficient. A carrier we've used before and will use again.
One suggestion, we booked our flights well in advance with extra leg room seats sitting together. Due to an airframe change our seats allocation were changed. We were made to sit apart on both the outbound and inbound flights. If we book our seats to sit together then please keep us together when you make a change to our allocation. Thank you.

Visited the Nottingham branch on the off chance looking for a man's signet ring. Mary looked after us really well, was very knowledgeable, was kind and courteous. She very quickly identified a ring for us in the design that we were looking for. She checked ring size, taking into account swollen fingers when hot and then told us we could have the ring resized.
