In a nutshell...

Cheap Chinese glasses with flaws. Stay away especially if you are not from the USA and you have to pay due and tax on top of it. RA Optics handles that too but they probably scam on that as well...

If you are from USA you can try it for yourself as it should be easy to return them if you are not satisfied.

I bought 4 glasses total. 2 yellow/daylight Maxwell came fine although made in China and super cheap plastic...

other 2 Sunset Maxwell had flaws = black dust/spots/specs imbedded inside the lenses=permanent

They have sent me 2 more glasses with other problems even though I have asked specifically to inspect them thoroughly before shipping... absolutely pathetic...

- black specs/dots inside the lenses = permanent
- burnt plastic (temple arm)
- random paint blobs
- chipped plastic (frames)
- unfinished/scraped plastic in some places

Everything screams the opposite of what they say on their site...

Consider yourself warned.

I really cannot say anything wrong about the store. Quite the contrary. I have ordered a few things and the shop was always there to deliver on many aspect.

There are a few things that could use improvement and I would rather be afraid to buy anything more expensive as I have no experience with the store connected with warranty claims, but I returned a few things and the store was always solid about it. Hence my top rating.

Powiem szczerze, ze po opiniach to sie balem... Na sklep najpierw trafilem poraz pierwszy jak szukalem pewnego produktu czy bedzie taniej, ale cena byla podobna wiec po kilku sekundach bylem juz na innych stronach. Kilka dni pozniej robilem to samo i produkt, ktory juz zamowilem na allegro byl wystawiony na przecene ponad 50% (grzebien z wybrakowanym opakowaniem). Napisalem najpierw na chat, zeby sie zapytac co to znaczy 'brak zabezpieczenia' przy produkcie. Niestety nie otrzymalem zadnej odpowiedzi przez +-30min/ Napisalem rowniez maila, na ktorego dostalem odpowiedz jeszcze tego samego dnia, byla to sobota. Pani bardzo uprzejma, dowiedzialem sie, ze brakuje oryginalnego opakowania, ale produkt jest nowy, itd. Dzisiaj odebralem przesylke i grzebien zabezpieczony wzorowo, az ciezko bylo sie do niego dostac. Samo zamowienie przyszlo w ladnym malym pudelku firmowym. Grzebien najtaniej w necie mozna znalesc za ponad 50zl... Na makeup.pl kupilem za 25zl lacznie z przesylka. Ten z allegro wrocil, nawet nie odbieralem z paczkomatu. Co wiecej Zamowienie zlozylem/kupilem w sobote, a paczka juz na mnie czekala juz we wtorek.

Nie moge absolutnie nic zlego powiedziec po tym jednym zamowieniu. Wrecz wszystko wzorowo. W grzebieniu brakowalo gumek/plastikow dzieki ktorym jest przytwierdzony do kartonika firmowego, tyle. Zamiast 56,99zl wydalem niecale 24zl. Produkt super!

Mam nadzieje, ze jak kiedys sie jeszcze zdarzy zamowic to rownie pozytywnie bedzie/

Nic zlego sie nie da powiedziec. Co prawda nie mialem jeszcze okazji niczego zwracac/reklamowac, ale zakladam, ze tez nie powinno byc problemu.

Idealnie jakby zwroty/wymiany byly darmowe tak jak w militarii.pl, ale i tak uwzam, ze jest super. Tak trzymac/ tgchan.com

7 lat i nigdy nie myslalem o zmianie operatora i mam nadzieje, ze nigdy nie bede musial. Zasieg internetu w moim domu z metalowym dachem niestety nie jest najlepszy, ale poki co jezdzac po PL z gps zasilanym mobile vikings jeszcze nigdy nie zabladzilem do domu ;p

Obsluga absolutnie przemila i ludzka, a nie roboty/automaty. Czy to chat czy infolnia. Nie czeka sie godzinami na rozmowe... Nie rozmawiasz jak z pracownikiem tylko znajomym, ktory naprawde chce pomoc. Przetestuj sobie na karte np za 25zl z autodoladowaniem (samo pobiera z kart nie trzeba pamietac) tak jak ja i nadal jestem przemega zadowolony.

Wciagnalem na poklad Babcie i Dziadka. Dodalem znajoma i kilka osob dolaczylo z polecenia. Nie place za swoj numer juz od lat. Wedlug MobileVikings zaoszczedzilem juz ponad 1k

Czego chciec wiecej? Gdybym mial lepszy zasieg to skorzystalbym pewnie z oferty internetowej, ale poki co njumobile daje rade i to za 29zl 300gb mam takze ciezko bedzie pobic :)

Mam nadzieje, ze pomoglem/ Dzieki za przeczytanie oraz udanego dnia/nocy.

Even though I have written this originally from a place of anger and disappointment it is still true...

But perhaps more negative than it should/really is.

This is why I bump my rate from 3/5 to 4/5 just not to discourage anyone from trying.

I have learnt a lot from it after all. I think. That's enough to start making my own music in a very simplistic way but hey... They have helped me with it so I feel grateful for sure. I have put too much pressure on myself and little bumps on they way just amplified my anger and dissapointment in some mistakes, worse sides of the service.

I will probably stay for some more because it feels like my guitar home, there place from which I grew up and I may still learn so much more/ Thank you for taking your time reading this and understanding.

After 7 years of experience... I would not recommend it. I would definitely advice to check other services first than come and compare them with GT

+ some really nice officially licensed songs
+ great teachers although some lessons are poor in quality (they teach one thing, play something else type of thing... )
+ "at first glance" a really nice path to start your journey with the guitar. It definitely helped to get the ball rolling
+ relatively cheap for what you get (it all depends how much you get out of it)

- lots of mistakes in tabs/notation (video shows you one thing and notation something else entirely)
- the site gives you that bad vibe that they don't really care about the quality... they just want the money to roll with the least amount of work they have to put in
- forum is a mess... = it barely works
- they call themselves "The best online guitar lessons..." yet... they have lots of mistakes and after reporting them... they let them marinate for another few months before someone is willing to put some work and fix them...
- they send you an annual questionnaire/poll how GT may improve yet they ignore reported issues on the forum...
- not really that many licensed songs (at least in METAL category)
- plenty of songs lose their licenses and they get deleted
- I haven't noticed any new ones (METAL)
- no info when the site is having a downtime/problems = it just does not work and they do not give a F* to inform you that they are working on it, etc. (zero info. anywhere)

It's been my home for the last 7 years... I do NOT want to go anywhere else... but I just feel they do not deserve my money. I have not seen even one thing that has improved in all that time... It just goes downhill...

If it weren't for numerous blatant mistakes in notations, occasional problems that won't let you practice (site is down, videos don't play, you cannot log in, etc.), lost time and energy reporting problems which are left unattended for months... I would probably stay another few years until I learn all the songs I want/can and maybe some more if I found something of interest to me.

I might try and ignore all the mistakes I will probably find in another songs along the way... but you just CANNOT stop thinking WT* AM I PAYING THEM FOR?!

You pay for a service that helps you on one side and confuse, irritate and waste your time and energy on the other... It's really hard to be satisfied...

Hopefully it will somehow help you out with the decision but... It's one of those things that you really have to experience it yourself.

Just try some other services as well.

I'm Polish and I buy lots of stuff from the store here in Poland. Super fast delivery. Decent prices and good customer service. I have nothing bad to say about it. I've been buying here for years. Never ever had I any problems that have not been resolved quickly and without much hassle/ Totally recommended/

I've been here for 5+ years. The site has its own problems. It is often bugged. Something often times doesn't work as it should...

It's annoying... But it's been my home for the last 5 years of guitar learning and I really didn't have to look elsewhere.

They try. At least I believe they do. Still... I wish it all the best because I want it to be my guitar learning home for at least another next 5.

I am super picky and easily annoyed with the little things. As a teacher myself... I find some instances/lessons plain over-complicated, misleading, both or even poorly created...

Still... along with my hard work, dedication and will to learn... The site has provided me the tools to learn how to play +- 45 songs some of them I have never even imagined I could ever play.

Guitartricks definitely can teach you that/ And believe me... I am not the best at learning myself... So they might be better than good :)

I've bought many stuff from Thomann and I have always been happy about my purchases. All my issues, returns and contacts with the customer help were with positive outcomes and I can wholeheartedly recommend this great store/

Long time customer. Almost always happy. The packages could be better secured though. They used to send stuff in extra boxes but now they come in original box + bubble wrap which is fine I guess...

Still... I would rather pay more and have product box in new condition and clean. I've been buying from the store for years. A few expensive guitars, amps, etc. I have also sent back a few items. Never had a problem and the customer help was always very helpful.

I even had a spare tuning knob sent to me after some time because my Gibson Les Paul standard came with a faulty one which I only noticed a few months later.

Overall, no reasons not to buy from these guys/

Never really (seriously) let me down so I will definitely continue buying from the store/


I am really picky about my stores and kytary.pl is definitely able to hold its own on my list of great stores for music related gear.

None existing customer support. I have written 2-3 emails = no answers. I have got a hold of someone on the website chat but it felt like talking with a bot, even though it wasn't...

Great gear but imagine buying something and not able to contact anyone to solve your problem or something...

musicstore.de shipped the guitar in 2 boxes. 1st one; was securing the original box of the guitar. So you product box is clean and nice. Kudos for that~!!

Super fast shipping from Germany to Poland, just 3 days~!!

I had a problem with contacting the customer service when I wanted to send my first guitar back. Nobody was returning my emails (2 different providers; gmail and the other one) and messages via contact forms. I have been sending emails to every possible musicstore.de emails... and the reply came back after 4-5 days...

Later contacts were fast and non problematic though.

I have send the first guitar back and it was FREE OF CHARGE.
I have sent the second guitar (craftsmanship flaws) back and I was charged ~28 euro for the shipping. FAIR ENOUGH.

I love the store, I will undoubtedly buy from it again soon.

I bought an amp and a guitar and super happy with both but the customer help seems to be still lacking... I've asked about some potential amp problems and noone bothered to return my emails/ I've sent them to Polish, German and English departments... None has been replied hence -1 star for that.

I would still buy from the store but any potential problems, guarantee issues... you really do not feel secure about your purchase... Unfortunately/
