Fraud is their business model.

They try to cover up their special fraudulent funnel that you can get inside mostly through their ads on other websites (or through their app funnels).

However if you go to their pages directly they try to keep the appearance of having good and transparent business practices.

For example right now their T&C and the pricing is available on their page if you go to it directly. But then you check Google Play store reviews and users say something like (this is a real quote from a user): "BEWARE: THEY HIDE THE AUTOMATIC RENEWNAL INFO IN THEIR T&C AND CHARGE YOU FOR RENEWAL WHEN YOU'RE NOT AWARE".

Why would he say that? Because Medical Score UAB pretends to be transparent but only on their website (at least right now).

But they scam users through other funnels like the advertisement funnel or the app funnel.

Once they get more positive reviews from their non or not yet scammed user group I'm certain that they will pivot back to ramping up their scam funnels through ads.

It's an adaptable scam. Just like they adapt their same scam quiz to different use cases 👇

1. too old or too busy to understand that you actually are able to get the money back but with a disproportionate time investment that doesn't make sense so they win (it took me - someone who I'd consider relatively computer savvy - TWO hours to get A PART of the money refunded through PayPal
2. too demoralized (because the company is in another country) to do anything and just accept them not answering any of your emails
3. the people don't take a few minutes to research who they're giving their money. Also Trustpilot needs to investigate how they request their reviews. I'm 100% certain that they have a subgroup of customers where people weren't scammed yet because for example they're too new to one of their scam apps. The deferred sucker group in a sense.

They successfully scammed my 60+ year old mother by charging her repeatedly multiple horrendous amounts for a quiz. She was completely shocked and felt helpless and the incident left a negative mark on our relationship because I had to help her to get at least the large payment back which took us multiple hours and only through PayPal and it worked only because it was refunded the same day of the charge. Would I had been busy that day she'd never seen her money again. Effecto never replied to any of her emails only once I put PayPal in CC from my side they scrambled like cockroaches that they are.

Well done Vilnius that's definitely a "startup" to be proud of.

What to do now:
1. Contact Paypal. Tell them that you've been charged fraudulently and that their continued cooperation with this scam hurts PayPals brand. If you paid by credit card issue a charge back.
2. Make a police report
3. Leave a negative review on Trustpilot, Google Maps and the app store (Google Maps review is the most important one because it shows up in Google).

Weitere Schritte: unbedingt zur Anzeige bringen. Das "Angebot" richtet sich durch das anbieten der deutschen Sprache an deutsche Nutzer, während Abofallen in Deutschland illegal sind.
Sollen die in Vilnius weiter ihre Landsleute betrügen wenn die es dulden aber nicht hier.

Scam operation with multiple apps designed to scam you with random monthly payments.

Don't fall for it please.

Edit: I urge everyone to contract PayPal to make PayPal cancel the PayPal account of these fraudsters because the only reason this many people are falling for this scam is because they're seeing a PayPal button and automatically assume that effecto is trustworthy which couldn't be further from the truth.

They're effectively destroying PayPals trust by abusing their name to exploit customers preexisting trust in PayPal to make their scam operation possible in the first place.

Edit 2: Also note that on Trustpilot it says that their location is United States but on their own website it says Lithuania (I've looked up the place on Google maps it's a shell company these scammers are likely sitting somewhere else like in India or Africa)

They also never send any invoices and there's no mentions of "effecto" on the charge so that people don't have a clue where the charge cames from months after
