Very difficult to cancel my mobile phone service. Otherwise fine technically

I had used Virgin Money for home insurance for more than 10 years. When I informed them that I would start a small renovation, which their rules requires that I do, they cancelled the policy on the spot without even a discussion. Not even a price increase which I would have been happy to pay, they simply cancelled it, leaving us without any insurance. Simply appalling

We flew from Doha to Sharjah in March 2023. The flight was fine, but the Air Arabia express bus from Sharhaj Airport to Dubai never turned up. Someone told us to catch a local bus instead, which was a disaster. If you want to go to Dubai from Sharjah airport, plan to take a taxi and spend approx Dhm 150

They charged me for a renewal that I did not want, without my knowledge or consent

I used Yellohire to book a car with a 3rd party provider in Southampton, who in the end could not rent us the vehicle, but Yellohire were responsive and fast to reimburse our deposit.

I used Flixbus from Berlin to Halle and back. It was super cheap (two thirds the price of Blablacar), the buses were newish and comfortable, they were on time, and the app worked really well. Recommended without hesitation.

Had to call them up once to sort out a credit card issue, spoke to a human, no problems. Good cards so far.

Used them for Doha-Marseilles flights. Haven't flown yet but no problems with booking.

Booked a car from Marseilles airport (Marignane). So many hidden fees I don't know where to begin. And an old scratched up car. Just awful. These people should be put in jail.

I used Holiday Autos (via Kayak) to book a car in Milan. The booking was actually fulfilled by Target, and then by Autovia. I had misgivings about going through so many layers, but the end result was great. The car from Autovia was brand new, they answered the phone straight away, and it was cheap as chips. And no hidden fees, miraculously
