SKYKEYS is part of the FLIGTHKEYS Group - a Vienna based software development company which was founded in April 2015 by a team of passionate and high-profile aviation experts with very specific knowledge and long-term experience in the field of flight planning & optimization. “Our mission is to completely re-write the science of flight management for the 21st century by precisely meeting the emerging requirements of cost-optimized airline operations, trajectory-based operations and reduction of emissions and global warming.” SKYKEYS specializes in development and provision of EFB Cost Optimization solution applications to the airline industry. The company provides LORETTA, a state-of-the-art EFB Trajectory Optimization and Contrail Avoidance application which will enable pilots to save time/fuel costs and facilitate that they can conduct "greener flights" by avoiding generation of those contrails which are harmful and which increases global warming. LORETTA is a flight execution tool and is used before take-off as well as during the flight to manage climb, cruise and descend optimzation - it is by design a fully off-line capable application. Network TBO explores tri-lateral flight trajectory re-negotiation between cockpit, air traffic control, and ops control/dispatch - a critical capability for the future of collaborative air traffic management. This research initiative, involving Eurocontrol, Swiss, Airbus and others, concluded today with our solutions helping enable seamless coordination across all three stakeholders.
