The process was straightforward and easily navigable. All inquiries were met with prompt responses, and the pricing structure proved to be highly accommodating.

I found it easy to file as a non-resident and instructions were clear when I used Taxd. A huge relief! I intend to use Taxd again next year.

I had a small problem after completion. I had opened up the site on Google, so when I wanted to download the files it was difficult/not possible. When I opened up Taxd dashboard on Chrome I was able to save the files and print them out. Maybe some suggestion at the beginning of the process to recommend using Chrome or a similar site would be helpful.

The user interface was pretty intuitive and simple to operate/complete. When I hit an issue with the outputs the support was excellent

I am a landlord living overseas. The process of filing UK tax can be very troublesome and requires printing of numerous forms and posting by registered mail. Taxd simplifies the whole process.

TAXD solved a complex HMRC Self Assessment amendment for me that could not be done through HMRC online portal. I had a quick video call with an absolute professional who was super friendly, explained everything clearly, and finished the process in just 20 minutes. They submitted the updated return straight to HMRC.

I’ve used taxd for two years. I’m an American living abroad and have to file US and UK taxes. I have self employment income and foreign capital gains. I tried the HMRC site the first year, but found I needed a bit more of a walk through and so was happy to find Taxd and I prepaid the discounted rate for a 2nd file. The 1st year I found it helpful, but this year I found that the automatic AI answers were obviated or wrong. This caused me to file without applying the marriage allowance. When I went to amend the issue, the human agent told me info that contradicted the HMRC guidance and directly contradicted what the AI agent had told me when I first made the inquiry profiling.
I got everything sorted- eventually- but it didn’t inspire confidence.
Another downfall is if you file through a 3rd party the very handy HMRC portal tools won’t work for you. You can’t amend through them or see your tax documents. Everything must happen through taxd.
For me, it also doesn’t have enough support for my capital gains calculations. So I will be doing something different next year. I was grateful for the initial help in year 1 - but could have done everything myself year 2 with the HMRC website.

Taxd is extremely convenient and fun to use! It’s simple and easy, and also saves me from stressful phone conversations with HMRC. But as a non-resident landlord with no UK income other than tenant rent, I thought there was an annual allowance of £12,570 or so, and that I’d only be taxed on the amount I brought in above that. I could be wrong, but I feel that I paid too much. In any event, I trust Taxd’s estimations and am happy to use them again.

Easy to use and actually in many instances you do not need advise for simple tax returns
