Bin nach Vietnam ausgewandert und wollte die Verifizierung Lvl 3 machen, also Adressnachweis.
Habe den vietnamesischen Pass, die vietnamesische ID (alle mit Adresse drauf), die Registrierung beim Einwohneramt und sowie auch einen Bankauszug eingereicht. Alles wurde abgelehnt. Beim Bankauszug wurde bemängelt dass zuwenige Transaktionen drauf sind. Was hat das mit dem Adressnachweis zu tun? Ändert sich die Adresse wenn ich mehr Transaktionen auf dem Bankauszug hätte? Ergibt null Sinn.
Ich war auf der VIP-Stufe Platin 3, hatte also schon sehr viel Umsatz eingebracht. Wie jetzt mit mir umgegangen wird, ist eine Frechheit.
Habe das Konto schliessen lassen, Löschen können sie es ja angeblich nicht. War jahrelang ein sehr zufriedener Kunde aber ab jetzt heisst es für mich: Nie wieder Stake! Gibt genug Alternativen.

Leider wird vonseiten des Unternehmens nichts Wirksames gegen Spielsucht unternommen. Stattdessen wird lediglich darauf hingewiesen, dass man sich selbst sperren oder eine kleine Auszeit nehmen könne nach dem Motto, wenn das „Glück“ gerade nicht auf meiner Seite sei. In der Praxis bedeutet das: Man kann unbegrenzt Geld einzahlen, ohne dass jemals kritisch nachgefragt wird.
Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich an meinen VIP-Host gewandt und offen zugegeben, dass es bei mir außer Kontrolle geraten ist. Ich habe darum gebeten, meinen Account dauerhaft löschen zu lassen. Daraufhin wurde mir erklärt, dass dies aus „rechtlichen Gründen“ nicht möglich sei. Stattdessen erhielt ich ein Angebot: Wenn ich weiterhin bei Stake bleibe und weiterspiele, würde man mir einen bestimmten Prozentsatz meiner Verluste zurückerstatten.
Das heißt: Ein Spieler meldet offen, dass er spielsüchtig ist und die Reaktion des Unternehmens ist nicht Hilfe oder Schutz, sondern ein finanzieller Anreiz, um ihn zum Weiterspielen zu bewegen.

The limits in question have to be set by the player there is no review by Stake itself, which is simply a lie. But I didn’t expect anything else. I was also contacted by Stake via email. Unfortunately, after one email the communication stopped completely, which shows that it wasn’t considered an important issue.
