The missing piece for learning Mandarin
As a long time learner, I struggled to figure out what I was missing and why i wasn’t motivated at all to keep learning.
For those who’ve not learned mandarin as a native speaker; it is a ridiculously hard journey and extremely difficult to measure.
MyLingua makes that journey measurable for me, and has given me the tools and confidence i need to tackle my readings and work.
By curating articles for me to read and (ruthlessly!) tracking my progress at an extremely granular level, there’s no more deceiving myself. You either are reading it, or you aren’t! And when it is presented in fresh, relevant, content instead of 10 year old school books, you’re also keeping up with the times and with that context as well!
The tool I specifically use the most presently is their upload/segmentation feature. This saves me a lot of time and lets me track my own progress on any readings I encounter in the wild, or even translating/giving me pinyin on the fly!
As one of the earliest adopters of this app, I was fortunate enough to speak with the founders. They are a wonderful group of motivated people and language learners. It’s my belief that this platform is developed well and will continue to grow as a safe haven for serious and committed language learners!
