If so, you've probably realized that keeping everything under control isn't that easy. I've been testing the MCP integration with Azure API Management over the past few days, and honestly, it's really good. But what does this really mean? It means you can reuse the same security, access control, and monitoring you already have for your APIs. Platform teams stay in control, while product teams can focus on building and delivering value. And one more thing... you can also expose an existing API as an MCP server. In other words, your AI agents can talk to the APIs you already have without having to redesign them. (Now that's a really elegant approach). But the process doesn't stop there. If the model detects a relevant technical recommendation or lesson learned, the system extracts it and automatically creates a page in Confluence, linking it back to the original Jira ticket. The next step was automation. I integrated the whole process into a Jenkins pipeline, allowing the workflow to run automatically without manually executing the Python scripts. Jira → LLM → Executive Summary → Lessons Learned → Confluence → Jenkins The goal is not just to use an LLM, but to build a controlled and reusable ecosystem around it. ☕ More to come.
