No two cedents send claims files the same way. Different layouts, different columns, different conventions for the same loss, and buried in all of it, the handful of rows that actually need a closer look. Brisc reads claims laundry lists — the bulk claims files cedents send over, thousands of rows in any layout — and tells you which claims deserve attention. It scores each claim against your own hazard vocabulary and problem jurisdictions, and shows exactly why every flag fired. The Claims Analyst handles both jobs on one notice-to-resolution path: → Detects and separates multi-claim notices row by row → Scores every row against your hazard vocabulary and problem jurisdictions → Shows the reasoning behind every flag it raises → Surfaces what needs attention first Your team still confirms the claim boundaries and makes the coverage call. The Analyst makes sure every row gets the same scrutiny, whether it's row 1 or row 3,000. https://lnkd.in/gDBknENW #InsurTech #ClaimsManagement #AIinInsurance #MGA #InsuranceInnovation
About us
Brisc builds insurance-native AI Analysts for the delegated-authority back office: cash reconciliation, bordereaux, submissions, and claims. Our customers have reconciled close to $1B in cash and processed thousands of transactions through Brisc to date, at 99.1% field-level accuracy, with 91% of submissions handled zero-touch. Built by insurance operators, Brisc runs alongside the systems MGAs, carriers, reinsurers and mutuals already have. The PAS stays the system of record. The Analysts do the matching, extraction and validation, and hand back clean data with the evidence on every row. No migration, no rip-and-replace, deployed in 2-6 weeks. Available on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. See the Analysts at brisc.ai

We're hiring: Customer Success Manager Our customers are MGAs and delegated-authority programs, reinsurers, specialty carriers and mutuals, with books across North America, Bermuda and London. Each runs its back office differently. Our AI Analysts handle reconciliation, bordereaux, submissions and claims, and go live in 2 to 6 weeks. Someone has to own getting each customer there: discovery, setup, troubleshooting the messy stuff (PDFs, bank files, inconsistent formats), and turning recurring issues into permanent product fixes. That's this role. You're comfortable using AI tools yourself day to day, and you want ownership of an outcome, not just a queue of tickets. If you're experienced in B2B SaaS customer success and want ownership of deployments at a company that's growing into new customers and new markets, we should talk. 📍 Remote (NA hours, Toronto HQ) · Full-time https://lnkd.in/g9rbUc7k

Underwriting submissions used to mean hours of manual data entry for the team at Helix Underwriting Partners. Not anymore. The results since deploying Brisc's Submissions Analyst: → 2,975+ submissions processed → ~80% reduction in manual work → 1,700+ underwriting hours reclaimed → 99.1% field-level data accuracy → 91% "zero-touch" submissions → Same-hour or same-day responses to brokers on competitive risks No new portal. No templates to enforce. Brokers submit exactly as they always have — email, PDFs, Excel SOVs — and the Submissions Analyst turns it into clean, quote-ready data. This is what insurance-native AI looks like in production. Read the case study: https://lnkd.in/g-D4NHNY

A payment that clears is not a payment that was correct. Almost every control in finance runs before the money moves: approvals, limits, verification. They are good at stopping what looks wrong. They are silent on what looks perfectly ordinary. A claim paid twice. A commission taken twice. Each one clears exactly like a good payment, because on the way out, nothing about it stands out. Reconciliation is the only control that examines every transaction after the money has actually moved. It is the one place the whole picture exists. In most finance teams it runs about 45 days behind, which makes it a record of what happened rather than a chance to do something about it. That gap is what Dream Hannah closes. Dream Payments launched her this week, powered by Brisc AI. She reviews every payment executed across the business each day, matches what matches, and escalates what is missing or ambiguous with her reasoning attached. Rent and premium, inbound and outbound. Premium fail the same way: the money arrives and the story doesn't. Brisc was built to reason through that remainder, and Dream sees both sides of the payment. Once money is out the door, getting it back is hard and often impossible. Found at month-end, it is a write-off. Found the day it happens, it is still a decision. Congratulations to Brent David Ho-Young and the team at Dream, and thanks to Paul Chawla for putting us together. Full release: https://lnkd.in/ge2XBaBZ

Chasing Payments That Are Already in the Bank In delegated authority businesses, cash matching is one of those functions that looks manageable until it isn't. For most firms it is an outsourced or periodic process where bank statements are downloaded, reviewed, and reconciled. The finance team signs off. But by the time that work is complete, more payments have landed in the account, the snapshot is already out of date. The result is that most finance teams never have a truly live view of what has and has not been received. This matters more than it might appear. Many insurance products operate under strict payment terms where non-payment of premium can result in a policy being cancelled ab initio. Underwriting teams end up chasing brokers for overdue premiums that have already arrived in the bank account but simply have not been reconciled yet. The broker gets a call they shouldn't have received. The relationship takes an unnecessary hit with wasted time and a potential reputation impact. From the outside, it looks like the operation isn't on top of its own book. That is an avoidable problem. When broker remittances, bank statements, and bordereaux are connected through APIs or other live data channels, the picture changes entirely. The finance team always has a current view, something a manual process cannot realistically deliver. Overdue items, late payments, and expected receipts become visible through a single dashboard. The team shifts from reactive to proactive, chasing what genuinely needs chasing rather than what the last reconciliation cycle suggested. There is another benefit that rarely gets discussed. In manual environments, reconciliation knowledge lives in the heads of the analysts running the process and when they leave, that knowledge leaves with them. An AI agent embedded in the workflow doesn't have that problem; it doesn't need to be retrained. It doesn't take institutional memory out the door. For firms running delegated authority portfolios at scale, a live cash position is not a luxury, it is a basic operational requirement that most companies are not equipped to deliver. The payments are there but the information is not. Operating on yesterday's picture is not a minor inconvenience, it is a structural problem. Insurance money moves fast. Reconciling it doesn't. Today, Dream Payments is launching Dream Hannah, powered by Brisc AI. Premium and claims that move through Dream's payment network now arrive already matched to the policy, the bordereau, and the claim. Audit-ready, with no new headcount. Dream runs the rails. Our Reconciliation Analyst closes the settlement gap the rails leave open. See how it works: https://lnkd.in/gv6KaEAw #InsurTech #Fintech #InsuranceAI #EmbeddedPayments #Reconciliation

Insurance ops teams lose 30–40% of their operational capacity to bordereaux, submissions, and cash reconciliation. Work that lives in spreadsheets, PDFs, and email threads. That's not a staffing problem. It's a systems problem, and it's one AI can actually solve without ripping out the underwriting or claims systems teams already trust. So we built Brisc's Analysts to run inside the Azure environment insurers already operate in. No new vendor risk review. No new infrastructure. No rip-and-replace. Today, Brisc AI is live on the Microsoft Marketplace. Insurers can discover and deploy our Reconciliation, Submissions, and Claims Bordereaux Analysts directly through Azure, on the procurement path their IT and finance teams already know. Proud of this one. It's the product of a lot of insurance-operator thinking, not just an integration checkbox. Microsoft Microsoft for Startups Microsoft Azure https://lnkd.in/d_ppdXAh
