The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position of Assistant Professor in Statistics and Machine Learning. The successful candidate, depending on his or her expertise and interest, could be nominated for an IVADO Professor position. These positions offer an enhanced start-up funds. The IVADO professors will participate in the ambitious project (IAR3) aimed at the development and adoption of robust, reasoning and responsible artificial intelligence, for which IVADO has just been awarded an Apogée Canada grant. An adequate knowledge of the written and spoken French language or a strong commitment to mastering the proficiency level required must be demonstrated.
