Good experience overall
I recently opened a new account with the Credit Union of New Jersey. Overall, my experience was okay and the staff were helpful. The only issue I had was not knowing that when you open a new account, there can be a 10-day hold on checks before they clear and become available. I wish this had been explained more clearly during the account opening process so I could have planned accordingly. Other than that, my experience was positive and I look forward to continuing to bank with them.
