Review of Fruugo New Zealand (NZ) - fruugo.co.nz

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The ordering was easy. Delivery let them down.

The ordering was easy. Order confirmation came through quite quickly. The company who was fulfilling the order let them down. They “forgot” to dispatch the order.
I found trying to contact them through the website extremely difficult.
It was only supposed to take about a week, but it landed up taking about 3 weeks.

HP and compatible cartridges!

I ordered some compatible cartridges for my HP8600 pro plus. Unfortunately, they did not work. I tried everything, but HP are very sneaky with their firmware so that you have to use their originals at exorbitant costs. Mark was very helpful throughout the whole saga. In the end, I got a complete refund, and l bought an ink tank printer.
I highly recommend using Good Egg and will be buying my refills from them in future.

Thanks for your generous review, Margherite – and for being so understanding during the process. HP can make things tricky with some of their firmware, but we appreciate you giving the compatibles a try and are glad we could resolve things fairly. Enjoy your new ink tank printer – smart move – and we’d love to help with your refills anytime.

Review of Skypax US, Inc

Globetrack and shipping timeframes.

The supplier sent the package off immediately and was delivered overnight on the 18/3. According to your information, it would have been sent to the globetrack sorting facility on the 21st. It has been over a week and it still hasn’t left the US. The shipping wasn’t cheap as it was for something that is so small. Perhaps Globaltrack needs to be reevaluated as a shipping option if it takes them so long to ship their packages.
I will definitely have to look into other options other than Skypax next time. This information which you supplied needs to be added to the FAQ. “ Our Globetrack shipments are processed on Tuesdays and Fridays of each week, and are sent in bulk to a sorting facility in Miami for pre-customs clearance and then sent to the destination country. This helps us resolve any possible issues with customs (if a commodity is not accepted to the destination country, for example) before it leaves the US. Once it leaves the country, then you would be charged for the return shipping if customs rejected the shipment. We would prefer you not to have to pay that, so we do what we can to prevent it. This process takes longer, but it is how we are able to provide a lowest cost option to our clients when they need it. For future reference, if you are ever in a hurry to receive a shipment, Globetrack may not be the best option for you as they can take much longer than FedEx or DHL. Globetrack utilizes third party carriers, usually the destination country's local postal service, to complete the final leg of the journey, and their delivery process is not expedited in the same way that commercial carriers are. Once pre-customs clearance is complete, then your tracking detail will be updated. You then would not see any updates for a few days, as they only update when packages are physically scanned. Bulk items are shipped in large containers, as scanning individual packages each time would slow down the process considerably. When the package is handed off to the final delivery service, it will be given a new international tracking number (shown in your tracking detail) and you would then be able to use it to track the package using that carriers tracking system”.
