Beware
I would give a negative rating if I could. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on here for this company.
I researched the company prior to ordering. I read every policy on their website and even looked up their sister company. I also made sure I was dealing with God's Love Overcomes and not a fake company. I'm leary of companies that flood social media with ads. They seemed to check the boxes of a legit company.
My entire experience was awful, until they refunded me.
I saw bait and switch promos. At one point a promo stated two sweatshirts for $39. In reality, it was if you buy two sweatshirts you get them each for $39. After comments on FB about this they changed the language. They gave me promo codes that didn't work. Promo language was $20 off your order. This was on their link that directed me to their site that advertised the sale priced items, but the promo never worked. Why would it be linked to the sale priced items if it can't be used with sale prices? They have multiple links with the same items at different prices. Multiple ads for 50-70% off but they just changed prices and discounts around. I guess they are allowed to market that way, just beware.
I ordered a sweatshirt and matching joggers. It's an offer they have if buying both, each are discounted. I wanted to add another pair of joggers to the order but I couldn't because the first two were discounted. Which meant I'd need to place two orders and pay shipping for the second order because the free shipping special is for buying two or more items. What company doesn't allow items to be added on? After many emails to customer service they finally invoiced me via email for the second pair and added them to my order. Even with it being an odd way to purchase, I appreciated they found a work around, although it took days to accomplish. By that time, the size I wanted in the joggers were sold out.
I ordered on Friday April 11.
Sunday (not a business day) April 13 I received an update that the order shipped. In reality, it was only label created.
The next update wasn't until April 23.
There was never another update after that.
I contacted the carrier twice, both times they stated they never received the package.
The company's fulfillment is 7-10 days, not business days. I received the first update on a non business day. Every time I contacted customer service, I was told I had to wait 10 business days. I did and they still passed the buck by telling me the carrier probably didn't scan the package.
Although I told them what I could see with tracking, and to please look into it further, their continued response was to tell me what I could see for myself. They refused to contact ShipBob, who they use for processing. As the merchant, they could have gotten info I could not.
Since there was an update on April 23, I was told by GLO that I now had to wait another 10 business days before anything could be done.
Customer service was equivalent to dealing with poor AI 99% of the time. If they read my complete email it didn't seem like it. They only addressed whatever they read first. I asked the same question in four emails and it was never answered. There was only one person that gave detailed info, but that was after I asked for a supervisor and said I was going to do a charge-back with my credit card company.
Finally, nearly 30 days after I ordered I was refunded. That was only because I sent a detailed email laying out the transaction and reminding them of their refund policy. No one responded to that email. An obvious sign of not caring about the customer or their experience. I was happy to get my refund in full. I made sure they didn't deduct their $5.95 return label fee since nothing was being returned.
I fully understand that there are delays, fulfillment dates aren't guaranteed and packages go missing. I was patient. Early on it was obvious the package was lost. They could have canceled that order (they canceled it after they refunded me so it could have been done sooner), sent me a replacement and researched the lost package on their own. If they would have taken action or responsibility earlier the items I ordered were still available for replacement. I asked them to do something so I could still get the items before they sold out. They didn't and they did sell out. They let me know new designs were going to be released, but I absolutely would never deal with this company again. I was fortunate to get my money back, I'm not pushing my luck - even though I love the message and wanted to spread it. GLO is a very disappointing company, especially considering the message.
Again, this was God's Love Overcomes and not a fake company even though the transaction felt very much like a fake, China based operation.
