HOW TO BEAT VODAFONE DEMANDS
Liars, fraudsters and not very bright.
Tried to rip me off for nearly £500 so sent then a cheque for the amount I SAID I owed them and that in the absence of evidence to the contrary, this is all they would get. Stupidly, they cashed in and allowed "Short settlement".
Prime example of how the greed of this useless entity can get them in trouble.
If Vodafone claim YOU owe them money, send them a cheque and a letter which states that the amount you have tendered is in "FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT OF ANY AMOUNT YOU MAY LEGALLY AND/ OR LAWFULLY OWE". Guaranteed they WILL cash it and thus you are HOME AND CLEAR, the LAW says so.
I don't know who their legal team is but they are NOT very bright if an non legally qualified person like me can beat them that easily.
To Vodafone reply: As I said, not very bright. THE LAW SAYS "SHORT SETTLEMENT" is FINAL if the sum offered is accepted and in this case it WAS deemed accepted by Vodafone cashing the cheque which was STAPLED to the letter of settlement but they STILL LIED that there was no letter. If you didn't agree with the offer you should have returned the cheque SIMPLE.
You are simply another brainwashed employee, who think Vodafone can make up the rules of commerce because they are so big. Vodafone, are a joke, it is well known and I'm afraid your reply simply proves my point. Go read up on SHORT SETTLEMENT, then come back when you know what you are talking about.
As for your collections department 4 years and nothing Still can't prove I owed them ANY money, never can. Credit score, Oh I'm SO SCARED.. NOT. Report anything adverse on my record and I'll sue your sorry hides for defamation. CHEW ON THAT.
debtcamel dot Co dot uk/debt-options/full-final mentions UNSCRUPULOUS creditors, I say VODAFONE.
PEOPLE, IGNORE THE REPLY FROM VODAFONE, IT'S TOTAL Hogwash. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THEM.
