Nonexistent customer service for faulty item …

Bought 2 retractable 40m wall mounted hoses. One broke within 3 days of installation. Support has been nonexistent. First contacted, submitted requested videos and photos, was promised a solution within 48 hours. 6 days later and after chasing every day, keep getting told it’s being review and someone will get in contact. Absolutely useless.
UPDATE 22/6/26 - A pathetic compensation offer of €58 for now two faulty hoses that cost €279.90. As both no longer work, your offer to 'keep them' is useless as both will need to be replaced.
UPDATE 27/6/26 - after two weeks of arguing and incremental offers of compensation, finally issued with a full refund. Fundamentally, their product is absolutely junk with both now broken with less than 2 weeks use. Secondly, the fight to get response was unreasonable and infuriating - should’ve been an instant replacement issued the day I noted them as broken. Finally, while a refund is ok, it doesn’t factor in the time and frustration for fact that I need to remove, dispose of and then replace both hose systems and the time it took to repeatedly chase for responses, answers and an outcome. I am out hundreds of €’s worth of time wasted. Never use Vevor! Lesson learnt.

Absolutely avoid this overpriced junk

Absolutely avoid this overpriced junk. Flagged to customer services ‘CS’ that the bracelet was discolouring creating an unpleasant contrast between the case and the bracelet. CS refused to swap or refund stating that it was up to me to closely inspect the website to spot their manufacturing short comings before buying or return the watch within 14 days. Assume they’ve bought cheap substandard bracelets that don’t match their cases and are happy to pass on this junk to customers at our risk. Zero standing behind their brand or quality, zero acknowledging that the colour on the bracelet should last longer than 3 months of infrequent wear, absolutely no concern that they have a dissatisfied customer.
UPDATE to IFL reply - wearing a watch 2 or 3 times a week for 3 months should not cause the fading experienced. It is NOT a design feature, you do not note it as such anywhere on your site, nor do you highlight it as such. You are charging a premium for a fundamentally junk product that you are now trying to blame your suppliers for. Given that the watch is immaculate and unmarked besides the ‘discolouration design feature’, you should be happy to take the watch back and stand behind your product and its value.

Dear Patrick,

In order to clarify, as our Customer Service already exchanged with you, we are a customization company, and we customize original Casio watches sourced from retailers with their original bracelets. We are not watchmakers.
The differences in finish you have observed are part of the original design and are not indicative of poor quality or mismatched components.
These finish on the metal are an intentional design feature, not a defect.
If the color has faded, it is due to wear and tear, which is not covered under any warranty.

If you have any other issues that are not due to wear and tear or any issues with the paint customization we are more than happy to assist.

In the hope we clarify the difference between our service and the original untouched product, we wish you a good continuation.

Best Regards,

Nicolas

Mappin & Webb selling blood diamonds

Mappin & Webb order arrived today without a certificate for the diamond I purchased. Requested the certificate but was dealt with online but an obtuse and obstructive individual who refused to send one and refused to say why. Essentially it’s highly likely that I’ve been sold a blood diamond, a stolen diamond or one that is not what has been sold to me. Why else wouldn’t you certify a 1.0 carat diamond? Seriously disappointed at the company and annoyed at a useless and antagonising ‘customer service’ representative.

*edit #1. Thanks for the quick reply. That’s great, please send the certificate that backs that up. Either IGI or GIA will suffice. Unfortunately, ‘Hannah from customer service says it’s ok’ doesn’t help if I were to sell it or value it in the future.

Hi there Patrick,

1* experiences are certainly not what we expect for our clients and it is very disappointing to hear of the way you have been left feeling after the service you have received. I will be passing your comments onto our management team to pick up on.

In the mean time, I would like to offer you reassurance on the authenticity of all of our products and their diamonds, however if you would like to share anything further on your experience, please reach out to our team at webenquiries@goldsmiths.co.uk - where one of our colleagues will be able to help out in any way possible.

Kind regards,
Hannah

Absolutely horrific bunch of the lowest…

Absolutely horrific bunch of the lowest humans. Extortionate parking charges that oversell annual tickets so that there are never any parking bays available after 8am. Then allow Network Rail to store rail and machinery which take up an additional 12 bays and fine you £100 when you arrive at 8am, find no bays available and park out of the way on a grass verge because you're in a rush after the school run and don't have time to look for alternative parking. Appeals process is rigged and they have a monopoly over rail station parking so customers are left without recourse or alternatives. Pure extortion and the bunch at Saba couldn't care less.

Avoid home fitment option

Avoid home fitment option. Booked AM slot, called at 11:30am and told AM is till 1pm and the driver will be there before 1pm. Add 2 hours to fit meant a 3pm earliest finish - hardly an AM slot. Couldn't tel me exactly where the driver was. Once cancelled, told 3-5 days to process a refund. Just appalling lack of understanding of client needs.

Hi Patrick

Thank you for your review and we are very sorry that we were not able to fulfil your order on this occasion.

Unfortunately we can never guarantee or give an exact time when our mobile fitter will appear for the actual fitting of the tyres. We can only give a rough guideline on the time as there can be occasions that when the are out on the road, things can happen on route i.e traffic jams, accidents extra time with other jobs etc.

With regards to any refunds, these leave our account on the day of cancellation but depending on your provider could take 3-5 days to show on your account.

We are very sorry that we were unable to fulfil your order this time and hope that you may allow us the opportunity to demonstrate the excellent service we are capable of in the future.

Kind regards,

Surprisingly good.

I was fairly apprehensive expecting snags like 'the phone isnt working' when it was or waiting ages for payment but it was seamless end to end and surprisingly the cash was in my account the day after sending the phones off. Will use again.
