Awful and dangerous management of the ferry ride between Calais and Dover at night. Not only delays and lack of sympathy for all passengers, kids and disabled, started letting cars go out before all people had come down from the top deck, we nearly got run over getting to the car and then fell due to the boat rocking still even while docked, and my mother has a broken ankle, just no respect. P&O before were also just as bad last time travelled if not worse…, they should all do better. but if you have kids, a disability or anything that might mean you can’t sit on the floor/stand and can’t deal with insane rocking (ofc expected) and delays and lack of respect, just cross somehow else.

Luckily I am physically able and was fine except for dodging the cars driving out at inappropriate speeds too early, but many passengers with children were left with no seats at ALL and had to sit/lie on floor while other passengers selfishly hog 2/3 seats per person. Can’t believe people. But DFDS managed the whole situation poorly and aside from the weather which is out of anyone’s control, the entire situation could’ve been handled better, especially the cars leaving.
