Jamaica Road is closed from Abbey Street to Shad Thames, due to a water mains bursting. Three bus services, 188, 381 and 47 are affected. C10 still operates as it turns left into Abbey Street. I have NO idea where the other two go but I did see the 47 join from Tower Bridge this morning. Why can Tfl not employ a manager with an I.Q. greater than his shoe size? The three services could follow the C10, giving a service from Southwark Park to Abbey Street, then turn up Tower Bridge Road, where the 188 goes and join their route from there. They could return that same way and avoid the excavation.
