Review of Investors Underground

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I've been a member of Investors…

I've been a member of Investors Underground for several years, and I'm incredibly disappointed with how things have changed. The head mentor, Nate, used to be more involved, but now he's barely around. He no longer creates daily watch lists consistently, and when he does show up, he's often vague and unhelpful.

What bothers me the most is how new traders are treated. The community, including Nate, is extremely rude and dismissive towards those who take longer to grasp the concepts. Instead of fostering a supportive learning environment, they insult and belittle anyone who struggles. It's disheartening to see this kind of behavior, especially from a platform that's supposed to be about helping people grow.

I would not recommend joining Investors Underground. The lack of support, the vague guidance, and the unwelcoming attitude towards newer traders make it a waste of time and money. Look elsewhere if you want a community that actually cares about your success.

Hi John,

Nate was clear about his plans at the beginning of 2024. After 15 years of grinding non-stop, Nate decided to take a more balanced approach to trading this year, and he is still very active in the community. We also brought on new team members, launched new tech tools, and expanded the offering considerably since then.

While Nate may not be posting 10 hours a day like he did in previous years, he is still very active. He has posted over 150 watch lists this year, is on the pre-market broadcast 1-2 times per week, and posts in chat almost every day (with 3700 chat posts in the past 30 days alone). To say that he's "barely around" is disingenuous.

We absolutely DO care about our members' success—it's why we have been able to run IU successfully for the past 15 years and why some of the best traders in the world choose to trade at IU.

We do NOT promote a rude or dismissive environment, but we do maintain an "all business" environment in the main chat room. This should not be misconstrued as unsupportive - it is our way of making sure ALL members (both new and experienced) get value out of the chat room.

If you are having trouble grasping concepts, we encourage you to review the coursework, webinars, and video lessons. We spent a lot of time creating those resources for that exact reason.

If you have questions, there are plenty of ways to ask. The Trader's Lounge is open 24/7 for more conversational chats. We host weekly study sessions and midday study sessions where you can ask questions and get personalized support. And, of course, you can message moderators directly with thoughtful questions.

We recognize that there is a learning curve to trading, and we'll say it time and time again - trading is not easy.

If you'd like to chat about your situation further, don't hesitate to reach out. We were unable to find an account associated with the two negative reviews you left here, but we'd be happy to discuss your situation further via email. Just email us at team@investorsunderground.com.
