Stay away from Waltio if you are trading altcoins.

If you are a crypto trader trading altcoins stay away of waltio. It works fine for major altcoins but fails to provide reliable information on small cap coins or non popular altcoins as they use coingecko as their oracle. Their solution, fix yourself the price errors and we don't refund.

Scam

Scam. I have only 12 transactions that are taxable but since I have 5000other random transacitions I cant generate a report. I am not paying 250euro for this trash.

thanks for the feedback, even though we're sorry to hear about your experience. One important clarification: in crypto taxation the pricing tier isn't based on the number of "taxable" transactions, but on the total number of transactions the tool needs to process — including internal transfers, staking, airdrops, etc. All of these operations have to be analysed to produce a tax report that's actually accurate, otherwise capital gains calculations would be wrong. Our support team would be happy to review your account and check whether any transactions are being counted unnecessarily (duplicates, filterable operations, etc.). Feel free to reach out before drawing any conclusions.

Also wrong calculations and don´t fix correction errors.

Big file with several lines to process. Various corrections needed which is ok even if took several weeks (better not be in a hurry…). Problem is the LAST report given was still incorrect leading to pay several thousands of euros of unnecessary tax ! Fed up I complained and since no return was given I asked for reimbursement which was granted. Only AFTER the reimbursement was I told that a correct statement HAD been issued but couldn’t be provided because had no more subscription now !!! Yes, sure, so why not say it BEFORE the reimbursement ? Fastidious client service always denying the evidence. Sad but poor experience. Lost of time really….

Wrong calculations and don´t fix correction errors.

I was in urgent need of a tax report to make make my tax declaration for 2023. I paid the 200€ plan for my over 4000 transactions with the APK of Binance. Most of the transactions are stacking rewards. Their programme gave me 1421 errors to fix mean while before paying the 200€ i have reduced the corrections to 21 error that i corrected but it still shows up.
I asked for custiomers service and no help was given to me to fixed their poor calculation error that gave me a year profit of 43,000€ that i have never seen. They send me an email that the problem was fixed to my great disappointment no.
Still asking you to pay more for an expart to solve your problem...
User interface not so friendly.
If you value your money and time do not buy this service.

I opted for Waltio's full service due…

I opted for Waltio's full service due to the large number of transactions to process (33K for the year and 160K for the entire history). I received personalized support throughout this service, and Gabriel perfectly understood and addressed my questions and comments. The result is extremely satisfying, and I could never have achieved this outcome on my own.

Good tool & good support that answers…

Good tool & good support that answers all your questions online.

However a few things could be fixed such as making it easier to label transactions and detect the coins that you don't need (especially for DeFi users)
