Blocked account, blocked life
Five months. Five months without a single cent of my own money.
This account was supposed to cover my living costs in Germany. Instead: fully frozen since February, no explanation, no deadline, nothing. When they finally sent a request, it landed at 3 a.m., with an eight-hour deadline before they'd close the account. Eight hours. At night.
In five months they managed exactly one payment, then locked everything back up immediately. The letter with their "urgent" demands was sent to my old address in Russia, even though I've been registered in Germany for months. They wanted salary slips, from someone on a job-seeker visa. How is that supposed to work?
I sent them everything they asked for. Twice, through two different channels. Both times: dead silence. Not even an automatic confirmation that anyone read it.
If you're moving to Germany and need this account to prove you can support yourself: expect to wait for your own money like it's a miracle. BaFin and the banking ombudsman are involved now, because at some point you run out of other options.
If you still have a choice: pick literally any other provider. Just not Fintiba, just not Sutor!
