I purchased a document on Stuvia because it was advertised with a money-back guarantee, which gave me confidence that I could request a refund if the document was not as described.
Unfortunately, the document did not match what I believed I was purchasing based on the listing. When I contacted Stuvia for a refund, I was then told that because I had already opened/accessed the document, I was no longer eligible for one.
That policy makes the advertised “money-back guarantee” feel extremely misleading. You cannot realistically determine whether a digital document has been falsely or inaccurately advertised without opening it first. If opening the document automatically eliminates your ability to receive a refund, then the guarantee provides very little protection to the buyer.
I would not have made the purchase if the listing had clearly stated upfront that simply viewing the document would void the money-back guarantee. Stuvia should either honor the guarantee in cases where a document is not as advertised or make this restriction extremely clear before payment. Very disappointing experience.

It's been a week still haven't received my payment

Cash-out processed and marked 'Paid' on August 10th. Funds never arrived. Support refused to provide a payment reference/UTR number and told me to wait until next week.

I’m honestly very upset with my experience. I specifically ordered the AHIP Final Exam 2027 Actual Exam Questions and Correct Answers, and what I received was NOT the correct material at all. The documents were completely different from what was advertised, and now I’m stuck with something I can’t use.
I trusted Stuvia to deliver accurate study resources, but this feels misleading and unacceptable. I paid for a product that wasn’t delivered, and I’m extremely disappointed. I’m requesting either the correct documents or a full refund.
Buyers, please be cautious — this was not the experience I expected.

Just downloaded the NAFI CFEI 200 question test prep. However, only 100 questions on the download.

The company allows sellers to set their own prices which gives room to adjust according to demand of the document/ product. However, the company must add more universities and colleges in order for sellers to upload more.

There is room for improvement in the area of managing the quality of the documents, given the circumstance Stuvia takes a decent percentage of the sales, they should put effort in having only good quality documents.

A good site, very clear. They do take to much tax to be honest.

If this were a free service I would rate it higher. However I paid for review material for an important test and the material was less than 25% accurate, Giving 2 stars is generous because that is 40%. I do not recommend paying for this material you can probably get the same or more on the shared sites.
