Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 53 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers encountered severe technical difficulties, facing endless loops of password resets, recurring error messages, and persistent trouble accessing accounts through the website and mobile application. Patients struggled significantly with the booking process, finding it extremely hard to secure timely appointments or locate nearby medical facilities easily. Though some reviewers mentioned the digital platform worked well in the past or offered better convenience than traditional queuing methods when functioning properly. Users also expressed deep frustration regarding the absolute lack of direct communication channels and the overall poor reliability of the provided service.

Changed booking procedures

I have used swiftqueue before without problems. Tried today got an appointment slot redirected to NHS website . Since my password on NHS website is a fingerprint am unable to proceed with booking.
Why have you made this such a frustrating endurance test for an elderly not computer savvy client?

Shambolic system

Shambolic system! Stuck in an endless loop of password resets because the system does not recognise my login, so I reset and then start a new loop of doom all over again. Does no-one in there monitor the number of password resets they have in an average day?! I alone count for 4 in the last 7 minutes and I know from the other comments here I am far from the only one. What a complete joke.

Hah!

Hah! Remember the days when getting a blood test was easy? You probably don’t, because now, everything has turned to shit. Nothing works. And the ironically named Swiftqueue is up there with the worst websites that I am forced to use because it is supposed to make my life easier. Hah! Every time that I use this moron-designed site my password is not accepted and I have to created a new one. I then need to make an appointment to see my doctor because going round in circles trying to get a blood test is making me dizzy and my blood is boiling.
All the one-star reviews on here are entirely accurate but despite this Swiftqueue has done nothing to improve this utterly shameful – no, despicable – so called service.
A curse upon them.

An absolutely horrific application…

An absolutely horrific application which I could not get anywhere near working despite many tries at both prescribed and workaround methodologies. I have zero confidence my personal data is safe with this application given the core functionality of this product is a lot worse than any other way of booking an appointment in the last 40 years

Abysmal but at least I can login with my NHS credentials finally....but trying to book an important appointment looked promising with a choice of 3 hospitals but trying to select one and fill in the special needs requirements generates errors about not being able to save but then trying again gives me a list of past inputs that it DID SAVE. Next clicking on the calendar icon to book a date and time has thrown an HTTP 500 error endlessly over 2 days. Hopeless rubbish.

Soonest appointment for a 5 minute…

Soonest appointment for a 5 minute blood test at my local clinic - Ashton Health Centre, was 5 weeks, so I booked only for it to be cancelled 1 working day prior, without explanation, without a courtesy call, without explanation, im now number 17 in a phone queue to get an explanation.
Absolutely diabolical service.

Completely useless system

Completely useless system. I get bombarded with texts from my doctors to go for blood tests and yet someone incompetent clearly can’t realise this is a failing system. Can’t search for the location, sticks on ‘all’ services and even still come up with no search results. How do you expect us to book an appointment when the rubbish system doesn’t work. Might as well use a restaurant table booking system instead. I wonder how many millions of pounds they have wasted of tax payers money on this.

Utterly and completely rubbish

Utterly, utterly, utterly unbelievably useless. This idiot system sends you round and around in a loop of looking for your NHS account and then taking you back to the start to begin again. Stress and frustration is all you will get from this system. Designed by cretins and as clear as mud. Please, please, please sort this abortion of a nightmare of a dung heap of programming out!!!!

My Father was booked a home visit due…

My Father was booked a home visit due to a failed blood test at the surgery and his reduced mobility - Swiftqueue were the people meant to carry out this visit - No call as advised to book the appointment - They just turned up (seen on fathers cameras) and rang on my fathers door. he is deaf, cannot get to the door quickly and has early stages dementia so is a vulnerable client. The door was not answered obviously as there was no arranged appointment. I have since spoken to the Drs today to ask about the test and advised I did see someone on the camera just turn up but no answer at the door. Swiftqueue closed my dads blood test as there was no answer at the door, they have advised the Drs as it is a home visit they are classed as housebound so they just turn up ? I am shocked and so are the receptionists at the surgery. The clients they are attending are also classed as vulnerable clients therefore they should not be opening the door to anyone not booked or known to be going, and may need assistance to do so. I honestly cannot believe in todays day and age regarding safety around vulnerable clients that swift queue feel this is an acceptable way to operate. Their policy and procedures need an over haul so the clients are getting a comprehensive correct service. My father still needs the urgent blood tetanus but cannot re-book as they will just turn up at the door with no call and cancel the test again. What a ridiculous waste of time, effort and tax payers money for a non-productive service.

Just had a text message cancelling my blood test for 28th August with no explanation why. Same thing happened last month, cancelled more than a week beforehand with no reason given. No phone number to speak to anyone about it. Whole system needs shutting down as not fit for purpose.

Completely useless! And this change has been done without any warnings or helpful information on what to do in order to login
So, we've now got a system as useful as a chocolate tea pot in place of a system that did work well

Dedaleus Swiftqueue appears not to be…

Dedaleus Swiftqueue appears not to be seamless or integrated or in anyway a patient pathway. As there is no possibility of talking to a real person at the company the experience becomes a frightening anxious drift into nowhere land. The local surgery is blocked up with people calling because they can’t make swiftqueue work - currently the local hospital Hertford County Hospital does no appear as an option for a blood test. No reason why given? Is it my fault or the surgery or is the system down. usual basic bad UX -no reasons given for error.

One of the most horrible services I’ve…

One of the most horrible services I’ve ever used. I can’t even piece my words to describe the completely condescending and utter disrespect we’ve just experienced using Swiftqueue’s eye triage service. Why do people have to go through such a horrendous process before accessing eye care? From utter contempt to individuals who are so rude! Who don’t even listen to your complaints and ask you the same questions over again, to treating you with disdain when you actually needed the service, is completely appalling and disgraceful behaviour.

My poor husband was exhausted with the entire horrible experience and if not that his eye was still inflamed, and his employer needed something from the NHS we’d have gone private.

Crappy interface that took so long to navigate that by the time I could log in the time slot had gone. Collecting useless diversity data gets in the way of the process. But then that is nothing unusual in the NHS
