We have been customers for a few years, after moving houses we saw the need to divide our alarm into different zones, so that one zone could be active and another inactive at the same time. Sector told us that they could not supply this solution so we changed to a competitor who said they could.
Upon cancellation they asked us to "buy" the yale doorman we had already paid for, and the amount they asked for was equivalent to what we could buy a completely new yale doorman lock of the same type for online.

After having spent some time trying to talk to customer service I can unfortunately not recommend Sector Alarm to anyone.

Edit to respond to sectors reply: So you are saying that the Yale doorman fee of 3990 SEK was for the 25 minute installation?
The ”discounted offer” we received for our used Yale classic was full retail price (2000kr).
Raising your hands and admitting to messing up would be a lot more respectable than the provided answer.

Great customer service. The Lady on call told me patiently how to change batteries and save me lot of effort.

Worst customer experience I've ever had. I wanted to terminate my contract, and it took SIX phone calls to get it done. The first four times, they told me someone would call me back "as soon as possible"; they never did. The fifth time, I finally managed to get someone on the phone. I got him to terminate the contract, and he promised he'd book a technician to come and take away the equipment; he didn't. I had to call back for a sixth time and talk to THREE different people to get an appointment booked for something completely routine that already should've been arranged.

The experience was good, as the staff was cooperative! They understood the problem, and set a process to solve it! There were no delays once the process was in motion!

The customer service on site was fantastic, it was a pleasant change that the installer was not trying to sell us every little thing under the sun and recommended what was optimal for us rather.

They will lie to get your business and then alter the contract details on the confirmation. When you call them on it, they promise to fix it, do nothing, and then demand more money to honor their original word. Absolute rock-bottom business ethics. I feel sorry for their employees. Stay away.

I am positively surprised that I even had the same Service people coming to my house. Very reliable security company! The AI usage in the telephone line - I am not totally convinced - make sure your people do not burn out with the AI taking all the easy conversations.

They lied to me about the contract and the deal from the first meating. Their seller promised alot that she k owingly lied about. The yale doorman didnt work so they tried to repair it 3 times but failed. Now they say that all the mo ey i paied to get it installed was a "installation fee" and not what i payed to get the products. They are lying and tricking you so that you cant claim refund when they dont fulfill their psrt of the deal and they lie to get hou to sign.
