Scribbr Reviews

very user friendly not having to pay is a bonus

Great citation generator. Perfect for academic uses

this was a nice experience

It has been a while since I evaluated it, and indeed, it is very useful! What is most satisfying is that there are no cluttered advertisements, and the overall experience is very refreshing and efficient. I truly give it a thumbs up!

It helps generate a citation and references in correct formats, I love it because it fastens my writing process, and hence focus more on the subject matter. I also love the fact that it keeps track of all my sources which helps me build my working bibliography easily.

Liked the review; however, last time we did a review with another editor that was more extensive.

Its an easy way to keep track of your references, but they will often not be formatted correctly. the order will likely be correct, but it doesn't correct punctuation, capitalization, italicization etc. You will still have to go back and check that especially if you're using APA formatting.

It works and doesn't put me through paywalls or adds (so far).

It's okay for school, but really annoying how I have to cite almost everything manually when the URL doesn't work. I recommend this to middle school students, but probably not a reliable website for high school and above. The website makes you sign in every time you exit the tab.

Sent two dissertation chapters to Scribbr for proofreading and had them back in about three days with a note explaining each change. The editor caught citation problems my advisor never mentioned so it was money well spent.

Stay away. Every next thing you want to do requires and additional add-on. It is not clear upfront what you are actually purchasing.

Best citation generator I've ever used!
Use it for everything, easy to use and works almost every time, however, some citations have to be entered manually. 5/5

It is the only citation tool my school did not block, 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have utilized this site to create literature reviews, ridiculously long academic papers, and to use as a card file for all the articles/videos/books I need for school

We used Scribbr for feedback on my daughter’s college application essay and had a really positive experience. The quality of the feedback was excellent. Raina gave thoughtful, specific comments about where the essay could be more personal, reflective, and clear, while still preserving my daughter’s own voice.

I especially liked the way the feedback was presented. She made only minor edits directly in the essay, and her comments were linked to the exact sections she was referring to. That made it very easy to understand not only what she was suggesting, but why.

The review gave us clear direction without over-editing the essay or making it feel like someone else had written it. It was exactly the kind of second set of eyes we were hoping for, and I would definitely use Scribbr again.

I am extremely satisfied with the language check Aimee has given me! To be recommended!

It is so helpful on your class work and cuts out time wasted allowing you to get more done without the hassle.
