I guess this is not a trusted website. Books will never arrive to our destination. I have ordered on May 5th 2026. Till now there is no track of order. Always it will show that, books are dispatched and will deliver shortly.
Some sort of legal action should be taken as well i guess. The customer support also will never reply to our mails. Such a worst website. Never ever order here.

Almost 2 months passed and still they can't proceed my order so I want a refund,,,and they can't even issue the refund... I'm so amazed that how they behave with their customers..!!.i mailed almost hundred times for their reply....my order was Harry Potter set... Anyways they're frauds i think....more than 1000 money I've lost to them

It’s nearly a month after online payment for Sudha Murthy’s book set.
Their tracking site shows for last 15 days dispatched.
Please do not buy from this site. Order if u must COD.
Can someone suggest how to report this site. No reply to e mails.

I placed an order on 14th April 2026, after making full payment. The order was confirmed and tracking still shows as "Dispatched" but the items are not received even after two months. When I reached out to them a few weeks ago, they wrote back saying that they will contact the delivery agent and provide a new delivery schedule. No update after that. I wrote two more mails and now they do not even respond. Madras Shoppe is clearly a fake vendor or a cheat, and going by similar experiences of others, it is high time this vendor should be completely exposed and taken to task.

This company cannot improve at any cost. I've not received my order and it's been more than 1.5 months. No calling no and no response to emails. Never ever order anything from this.

I ordered books on 5th May 2026 and made full payment. I informed the MP's office also after two weeks about the delay ; the books are yet to be delivered to me as on 8th June.
It is time the customers should lodge police complaints besides flooding the social media about fraudulent Madras shoppe. I ordered another set on Amazon and received the books within two days

I had placed order for sudha Murti books 1 month before.. books not delivered yet..online tracking shows dispatch..

Very bitter experience. I booked the order on 21.03.26 and I received a message on 07.04.26 mentioning order couriered and would reach by 17.04.26. by latest. They didnot send the consignment No. I tried to contact by what's app number and sent mails but no response.i even asked them to send the money. I am very much disappointed. Hamsika.

I bought Sudha Murthys short story pack for 758₹ on march 27, 2026 from Madrasshoppe on Apr 7, 2026, i got the following sms

Dear Mary, Your MADRAS SHOPPE order 117886 has been Dispatched. Estimated Delivery Time 4-7 Working days. For queries Text on WhatsApp 9344562268

I tried calling, messaging, to no avail. These are CROOKS. Don't go by their big ads on Google. CROOKS!!!

Very very pathetic service.
Books ordered on 1st April not recieved till date.

Madrasshoppe ia fake website. It is cheating people and not sending any books. Be aware and do not make any payment.

I order for Sudha Murthy books costed me 900 RS, The books were never delivered it had been many months now, later I found from the reviews that I am not just one, this company is fraud and been cheating many around, they are making a fool of people for trusting.

Fraud Website with no contact numbers / Customer care, The email mentioned for support is of no use.

I paid for Mrs.Sudh Murty books on 24th March 2026.I got SMS message on 07th April 2026 stating that consignment was posted. Till date consignment not received. Emails and WhatsApp calls not being answered. Appears that this is a fraudulent online book shop.
I Lost money. I request all not to deal with this fraudulent Madras shop reportedly an online book store and not to loose money

I had placed order for HarryPotter 7 Bookset on jan 31 via online payment of 999/- . order no 116576.
not delivered for a month so requested refund by march end..!
Still not recieved the refunds..!
Have sent emails & WhatsApp msg & even contacted customercare but no response.
Its a frad and spam..!

Fraud and fake website. Please don't order anyone. As reading book they do cheating.

I ordered a set of Sudha Murthy's 7 books for my Grandson on 23 Jan 2026. The order number indicated was NR-116403. Two weeks later on around 7 Feb when I checked the status it still said "PROCESSING". That itself made me suspicious. Why should a set of 7 books listed as available on the website take two weeks to process and ship if it has already been paid for?

A week later on 14 Feb, when I checked it said "SHIPPED".

Subsequently on 27 Feb when I further checked for an update it still showed "PRODUCT DISPATCHED" with a delivery date between 21 to 24 Feb and this was already 27 Feb. I grew further suspicious of the website and have been continuously following up with them on the only contact given on their website an E-mail ID. No satisfactory response.

Today searching the web site for some phone number I found two numbers - 9344562268 and 7200833323 claiming to be available on WhatsApp too. But both returned as invalid numbers.

So I am seriously wondering if this is scam site and should I proceed with registering an official police complaint! The amount is not significant but it is matter of moral and ethical principles and customer service experience.

My first and only ever disappointing experience on online shopping.

Madrasshoppe is certainly a spam and a fake website selling books online but they never deliver the booked order. The tracking number of the books consignment is fake. Either they do not provide the tracking number or they provide a fake tracking number. Their fraudulent activities are also bringing bad name for the reputed authors of the books. The authorities must take punitive action against them and their fraudulent activities.

The company appears to be fraud. I had placed order two months before delivery yet not received. Contact number given on site are also fraud. Not approachable through these numbers. NO mail reply, no update ❓NO delivery, No contact though they had confirmed the order.

I have placed an order for a group book on 12-12-2025, made payment. Called this company complaint number 9344562268 nor response. Refer to the attached supporting documents. Help me to get back money with compensation. Also block this company to avoid others like me getting cheated. Thanks

They cheat customer. I had placed order for 7 set of books of Sudha Murthy on Feb 1 money collected on online order no 116611.
