Beautiful place disappointing customer service

Beautiful place, shame customer service was so disappointing!

Place was empty on arrival even though we specified our arrival at time of booking.
(If they don’t want people arriving after 6 pm as it’s too much hassle they shouldn’t give us the option to do so. )

As we didn’t know where to go and it was getting dark we called Roger (who I texted the same morning letting him know once again what time we’ll be there) and he said he’s not there and pointed us to our dome over the phone...

We haven’t seen Roger or anyone else during our stay.

We haven’t heard from Roger or anyone else during our stay.

We had to share our bedding with the family next door ( they arrived later than us and found their dome with bare beds... if it actually was their dome ... we’ll never know, no one was there to let us in)

We were never given keys to the dome.

Roger didn’t reply to any of our messages during our stay.

It’s a shame really as the place is lovely. Love the fact they are so eco friendly and it would be an amazing place to go to regularly if they bothered to have someone who can answer customers queries. We will not be coming back or recommending that place to anyone unfortunately. There is lots of other nice places for £90 a night out there.

Roger did get in touch after our stay. Only to ask for payment (there was no one there at the time that we could settle the bill with)
We shared our feedback with him but he decided not to take any responsibility and to blame us?! He offered 19% but no apologies.
My daughters bday weekend wasn’t about the money. It was all about the experience, and Roger did deliver. It was an unforgettable adventure. Thank you Roger and good luck in future.
