Disappointed
Seriously? To cancel a contract they require a PROOF that you move or sell the property (not to charge you for the rest of the year). Not even an apartment rental contracts have such commitment requirement beyond a standard 1 month notice after 1 year... A very unpleasant surprise, avoid this company if you can.
Intervention d'urgence
Délais d'intervention raisonnable, personnels compétents et efficaces, chantier laissé en ordre et propre. Totale satisfaction.
Impossible EST français!
Having just received a message telling me that my bank has rejected a renewal request, I attempted to contact Homeserve to tell them that I am not in agreement with their information. However, it is impossible to contact anybody here in France- no email address only a telephone number where, after talking to/with a bot, I am told that no human being is available to take my call!! I have to resort therefore to Trustpilot in order to get my message across. Quelle pagaille

Refusal to honour facture …
The company they arranged to fix our problem could not come. I told them I had found someone local, they agreed to pay. As PACS partner was not home, the bill was produced in my name. They have refused to pay, even after sending Attestation EDF which is in both names. Find this attitude deplorable

Leak on same pipe twice work not find correctly
Homeserve sorted out my leak on canilisations and it was repaired. However the plumbers threw all the rocks and grit onto the plumbing even though they said they should really use sand. Result 2 weeks later after driving over the repair they were called out again. The work was on the same pipe and clearly badly done but they insisted it was a second intervention and now I have no cover until next July. I wrote to the President presenting the facts and Homeserve refused to change the decision. Why, because the plumbers wouldn’t be paid for shoddy work, the reason they said it was on a different pipe, when it wasn’t. Be very careful of this water insurance and this company. They reply saying same pipe, but……if you don’t throw heavy rocks all over plastic pipe work in first repair YOU wouldn’t break a pipe, disgusted …..just take responsibility for your shoddy work

Don’t go with them!
Don’t go with them if you are sick elderly or vulnerable!
My elderly parents were left with no heating over Christmas until January 4th as ‘there were no engineers in their area’.
This is totally unacceptable and un ethical.... they are both over 80 and have a serious health condition.
We sold our French house on 24th July - refund our money NOW
We sold our French house on 24th July, therefore we no longer needed the Home Serve service. We wrote on 3rd August from Portugal and sent the proof of sale - given by the solicitor at the time of sale - and expected our direct debit to be cancelled immediately. No such luck. A further payment was taken in September. We wrote again on 1st September. Our French bank account is now closed so that no further payments can be taken. However, despite sending the proof of sale a couple of times, we received an e.mail to say that we needed to provide proof of sale before the money could be refunded.
Your main company, Veolia, who supplied our water had no problem with the proof we gave, and the money that they had taken was refunded by cheque in August.
What is the matter with Home Serve. We want our money, refunded by cheque, to our home in Portugal. You now owe us 29.46 euros.
We are now into the fourth month since the sale of our French property. We want our money back. It is not much to ask. We have done what you asked for - several times.
