Crooks! Stay far away!
These people are thieves. I bought a vehicle from them on a loan in early 2023. It was my first time financing a vehicle. Dwight, the owner, listed the Wisconsin Buyer's Guide price on the application as close to $19k. Later in the year, I decided to pay the loan off early. When I went to sell the vehicle, the dealer could only offer me $8k because there were multiple things wrong with it that were not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. It even had the original tires from 2013 on it. Get real!
My attempts to sell the vehicle via other avenues (FB Marketplace, eBay Motors, Craigslist) at close to the price I paid were met with no interest. So I got burned out of $11k because of Dwight's greed and dishonesty. If you're currently searching for a used car, steer clear of Freeland Cars in Waukesha. Or bring a mechanic to inspect and be ready to offer them 60% less than what they're asking.
