Shymaa was excellent support in live chat after a few less supportive email exchanges
We put in two claims on 5 July ref numbers 202587387 and case ID 111312548 and ref 202586970 case ID 111312422. Total £296.42. We received no communications other than two payments of £88.13 and £35.24 on 17 July.....no explanation no nothing.....shortfall of £173.....please give reasons
I was promised a £25 voucher if I booked a holiday with them. I booked the holiday and received an email confirming the voucher. On return from holiday they did not give me the voucher. I complained and their response was, 'not sure what's happened, but go and contact the company that we use to issue the vouchers and sort it out with them'. Shocking response.
Their useless AI robots will respond to this message by apologising and then telling me that they're looking into it and will get back to me. Well, it's been months now and they haven't got back to me yet!
Mr/Mrs Sham was very efficient, he solved my problem quickly and simply.

I had a very disappointing experience with EasyJet customer service after changing my flight.
I had originally paid for selected seats so I could sit next to my two children, aged two and seven. When I changed the flight and paid the fare difference, my seat was moved away from them. I was then told I would need to pay an additional, higher price to sit with them again because seat prices are dynamic.
There were plenty of completely free rows available, so this could easily have been resolved by moving us to three seats together. Instead, the agent repeatedly failed to acknowledge the actual issue and only explained that the old booking had been cleared and rebooked.
The conversation also felt dismissive and rude. At one point, the agent simply asked, “What seat do you want?” despite the fact that I had already clearly explained that I did not want a premium seat or a particular row I only needed to sit next to my young children and still asked me to pay.
There was no empathy, no ownership of the problem and no real attempt to find a reasonable solution. I was forced to submit a formal complaint over an issue that should have been easy to resolve.
EasyJet should train its customer service team to listen properly, acknowledge customers’ concerns and use common sense, especially when young children are involved.
After finally finding the contact centre to make a small change, the assistant online was really helpful. Thanks Ghazi.

For unexpected circumstances I am unable to travel with my family under a group booking. easyJets policy, which is not on their website (confirmed by an advisor) is that a single traveller cannot change their flights details so the only option they have given me is to book another full price flight and leave an empty but fully paid for seat on the flight with my family. I think this is wrong (and believe is was possible a few years ago) and the consumer should have more protection or as a minimum be fully informed on this policy, which is currently not the case
The customer service representative was friendly, helpful, and made the conversation easy. Unfortunately, my issue is with easyJet's policy rather than with the person assisting me.
I booked a trip from Geneva to Edinburgh. Because easyJet's booking system cannot handle a simple multi-city itinerary, I was forced to make a separate booking for the Edinburgh to Toulouse leg of my journey.
On my outbound flight, I paid for an additional checked bag. However, on the return journey, easyJet required me to collect my luggage during the layover and check it in again. This is an extremely inconvenient process and, in my experience, something that very few airlines require in these circumstances.
Given the time constraints and the notoriously long queues at easyJet check-in desks, I chose not to purchase an additional checked bag for the return journey. I therefore requested reimbursement for the extra luggage I had purchased on the outbound leg, as I was unable to make equivalent use of the service on the return.
I was informed that this is against easyJet's policy and that no refund would be provided.
I find this position completely unreasonable. Customers are forced to work around the limitations of easyJet's booking system, endure inconvenient baggage procedures, and are then denied any form of flexibility or goodwill when those same limitations create additional costs and inconvenience.
This is extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable customer service.
My father is critically ill in ICU having had a cardiac arrest from which he may not recover. I have cancelled my EasyJet flight on Saturday and asked whether they would consider a goodwill gesture by way of a flight voucher and this has been refused. I find this very disappointing indeed.
The chat advisor was really helpful and sorted everything out for me with no problems
