Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 120 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently shared extremely poor customer service, mentioning that support representatives were unhelpful, completely unresponsive, or refused to resolve missing items, wrong deliveries, and damaged goods despite multiple attempts to contact them. Buyers also complained about poor product quality, noting that items quickly discolored, leaked, or arrived defective without receiving proper assistance or fair returns from the company. However, some customers also noted that occasionally their specific orders and unexpected product issues were handled smoothly by polite support agents. A few reviewers experienced surprisingly fast deliveries, pleasant in-store staff assistance, or successful online purchases without encountering any major complications.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dior.

I ordered a necklace for my daughter’s 21st birthday, which is a very special occasion. Unfortunately, UPS have lost the parcel and are unable to locate it.

What makes this situation even more frustrating is Dior’s response. Despite acknowledging that the parcel cannot be found, they are refusing to issue my refund until their investigation has been completed.

To make matters worse, they are now suggesting that I purchase the necklace all over again so that I might receive it in time for my daughter’s birthday next week.

I have already paid £480 for this necklace. Why should I be expected to find another £480 to purchase the same item again when the original parcel has been lost through no fault of my own?

I purchased from Dior expecting a luxury service, but the customer service I have received has been extremely disappointing. I feel completely let down, and instead of taking responsibility and resolving the situation, Dior are leaving me out of pocket and putting the financial burden back on me.

A special birthday gift has turned into an incredibly stressful experience.

I expected so much better from a luxury brand like Dior. Very disappointing.

Missing order! Delivered to an unknown address via Dpd! No replacement or refund! Disgrace!! Placed 3 Dior Christmas beauty orders…

Placed 3 Dior Christmas beauty orders in a week for over £650. 2 orders placed within hrs of each other & due for delivery on the same day.

Purchased all the Christmas collection to get the packaging & free gifts. My 2nd order arrived via Dpd @ 9.30am with the Christmas makeup slung in a cardboard box- no gift packaging as selected.

My first order was not delivered. Contacted Dior customer service who said did not have any Christmas packaging as advertised- even though only October. My first order hadn’t been sent & they would get it sent out asap.

In the afternoon got a text from Dpd to say 1st order to be delivered later that afternoon. Waited in all day- at 5.30pm checked Dpd text tracking. Parcel had been delivered but not to my address. Even though they had delivered a Dior parcel to me that morning.

The delivery photo showed 5 parcels dumped against an indoor wall somewhere that wasn’t my address. I contacted Dior customer service at 5.45pm to say it had been delivered to a wrong address. Customer service would not help me and said contact dpd myself.

Got through to a person at dpd who confirmed the delivery photo coordinates was not my address but would not help me and said they would only deal with Dior if they raised a case of mis delivery.

Went back to Dior customer service on the phone the next day. I was sent a declaration to sign via email to say I hadn’t received the parcel. Since then I have sent 3 emails to Dior, included the delivery photos that showed the two parcels out of the 3 I did receive and the one parcel that was delivered to the wrong address for £250 Dior have completely ignored me.

I have had no email about replacing my missing order or a refund, even though dpd can look up the tracking coordinates for the proof of delivery that shows it was delivered to the wrong address.

Some of the Christmas beauty items in that parcel are now sold out online & Dior have not bothered to contact me about a replacement order or refund.

This is honestly a disgrace. It takes a couple of days to contact dpd and get the delivery coordinates to prove the package was not delivered to me. Dior have no interest in finding the missing parcel, or replacing, or refunding it. They can’t even be bothered to send out the Christmas make up collection in the gift packaging as advertised.

When spending over £600 on a few items of makeup the least they could do is gift wrap it & send it to the correct address.

I expect more from Dior as a luxury brand to investigate and replace a parcel that has been delivered to an unknown address . And at least have the decency to acknowledge the customer complaint emails.

After reading all these negative reviews I am shocked. It seems to be happening a lot. Dior do better!!!! And could somebody at customer service please replace or refund my missing order. Why should I have to go through the hassle of a chargeback from my bank. An order should be replaced or refunded if genuine proof it is missing.

Absurdly poor quality and even worse customer service—do not buy!
I am utterly appalled by my recent experience with Christian Dior. For a brand that markets itself as a pinnacle of luxury, the product quality and customer service are an absolute joke.
I purchased an expensive item only to have it arrive with noticeable defects, feeling incredibly cheap and poorly constructed. When I contacted customer support to resolve the issue, I was met with complete indifference. The agents were unhelpful, delayed their responses for days, and ultimately refused to offer a reasonable solution or a straightforward return.

Wow- I never thought such a premium brand would have such shocking customer service. Was sent a faulty product, this product was for someone’s birthday yet they wanted me to send it back for a “full investigation” before refunding me. No offer of sending a replacement and I send the faulty one back like most companies would. Just made the whole situation as difficult for me as possible. Assia gets the one star that I was willing to give as she tried to sort it out but was kicked back at every chance.

Diors delivery partner failed to deliver, Dior offered NO help or refund/order replacement!

I placed an order that was to be delivered via DPD, I chose a Saturday delivery as I knew I would be home all day. I received a notification from the DPD app stating my parcel was delivered, although I did not have it. Within minutes of receiving the DPD notification I was on the DPD online chat support requesting further information on where their driver had left my parcel. They informed me not to contact Dior at this time and will carry out an internal investigation with the driver. Days passed and I had heard nothing, I contacted Dior and sent them the full transcript of my conversation with DPD. DIOR informed me that as I had not contacted DPD via Dior within the specified timeframe there is nothing they can do, so I am left out of pocket due to their delivery partner failing to fulfil my order. Even after sending them the transcript of my conversation with DPD where they specially stated I should NOT contact Dior at this time.
I am also a gold member with Dior beauty and have placed many orders/spent a lot of money with them. I emailed them to state how unhappy I am with this outcome that it is me who is left short, I asked for my case to be escalated/reviewed further. Dior have not replied to my email and it has now been 4 weeks!
Safe to say I am extremely angry!

Wrong items sent, refund refused - Scam?

I ordered two products from Dior in Belgium: The Beauty and Care Ritual limited edition (multi-use balm and hydrating gloss) and Dior Capture PDRN-Shot. Neither was in the parcel. I received a Dior Backstage Glow Maximizer Palette, 001 Universal Glow, which I did not order. I sent a photo of what arrived. Dior replied that their warehouse scan showed the order was packed correctly and refused a replacement or a refund. A scan does not change what was in the box. I have kept the palette unused.

Horrible experiance- not expected

I wish I saw the real reviews prior to ordering. Poor customer service/policies. I was missing an item and they wanted me to email them supporting documents so they can reach out to UPS before sending me a new item. It already took a while to receive this package. I told them I'd find a local store and just buy it again, but honestly, I won't purchase from their brand again. Waste of time and money.

Orders cancelled without notice and a lack of transparency, for the second time

This is my second frustrating experience with Dior.com.

Last year, I ordered a Christmas set that included a pouch. I received only one item and the gifts, without the set or the pouch. After several emails and around 20 days trying to resolve it, I was told the item was out of stock, and the rest of my order was never sent.

This year, I ordered a pair of sandals on 6 September. I received no updates until 17 September, when I contacted them myself and was only then told the product wasn't available online. I asked them to search thoroughly, since this was the second time this had happened to me. A week later, they confirmed it was unavailable.

The problem is that, the entire time, the sandals were still showing as available on their own website. When I raised this on 21 September, I was told the last piece was held in a Paris boutique and unavailable for sale, and that the listing would be removed "shortly." That was two weeks after my purchase.

My refund only arrived on 29 September. That same day, I ordered the same model, in the same size, from the website again, and it shipped without any problem.

So the product existed. What was missing was communication, speed and care for the customer. For a brand of Dior's standing, the online shopping experience falls well short.
I have not received a response via email that is why I am leaving this review.

Incredibly disappointing customer service

I purchased Dior Bow Slides on May 30 for $966.76. Within about a week, part of the material attached to the sole began lifting/separating from the shoe. When the slides were taken to the Dior boutique in Manhasset, NY, the response was essentially that it was “wear and tear,” despite how new they were.
My case was then handled primarily by Allura in Dior Client Relations. Dior requested photographs, including photos of both soles, and ultimately offered an exchange or refund. An exchange was arranged on August 12. Dior later said the return had to be received within 14 days of that request.
What happened next summarizes the experience. On September 12, Allura emailed me another return label and specifically instructed me to send the slides back to complete the exchange. Eleven minutes later, I received another email saying the exchange window had already expired. Dior subsequently apologized for the “mixed communication.”
The slides were ultimately returned and Dior issued a full refund. I then tried several times to repurchase the same pair, but multiple Dior replacement orders and payment links were cancelled or failed.
After nearly four months, I explained that this was no longer about receiving a discount—it was about how Dior chose to address the overall experience. Dior’s final gesture was complimentary express shipping and assistance placing another order by phone.
My original May purchase already included complimentary express shipping — $0 shipping.
For a luxury brand, I found the entire after-sales experience extraordinarily disappointing. I chose to move on and spend the money elsewhere. I’m documenting the timeline so other consumers can understand exactly what my experience was when something went wrong after a Dior purchase.

I purchased a bracelet for my daughter’s 16th birthday after 16 months of occasional where the pills have been stripped completely the gold has turned black. I contacted Dior and I was told that they had a two-year warranty on this jewellery after three months that they have replied to say that they can do nothing.
Extremely disappointed to say the least these items are not cheap and this really should not have turned out like this.

Title: Two faulty Dior products in three months and disappointing customer service

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Dior Beauty.

This is the second defective Dior product I have received within approximately three months. On this occasion, the product arrived with a faulty pump, which made it unusable. I contacted Dior promptly and provided photographs and a video showing the problem.

Despite the fault being with the product itself, I was initially asked for further photographs, including photographs of the outer delivery carton, which I had already disposed of because there had been no apparent damage to the parcel.

Dior eventually accepted that the product could be returned and initially offered a replacement. However, I was told that I would have to return the defective product and wait for it to reach Dior’s Atelier before a replacement would be dispatched.

After the experience I had already had, I decided that I no longer wanted a replacement and instead requested a full refund to my original payment method. I made this very clear in writing before returning the product.

I also repeatedly asked for my complaint to be escalated to a manager or senior member of the customer care team. Despite those requests, I have still not received a substantive response from a manager.

I returned the faulty product using Dior’s own return process and tracking confirms that Dior received it on Wednesday. At the time of writing, I am still awaiting confirmation that my refund is being processed.

What makes this particularly disappointing is that I purchased directly from Dior expecting the level of product quality and customer care associated with a luxury brand. I fully understand that faulty products occasionally occur and that a retailer is entitled to have a faulty item returned. My dissatisfaction is with how unnecessarily difficult and impersonal the resolution has felt, particularly after receiving two defective products in such a short period.

I will update this review when the matter has been concluded to reflect how Dior ultimately resolves my complaint.

UPDATE: I have now finally received my refund. However, I still have not received any response from Dior to my emails or to the formal complaint I submitted.

While I’m relieved that the money has been returned, receiving a refund does not address the extremely poor communication and customer service I experienced. I would still expect a company of Dior’s standing to acknowledge and properly respond to a formal complaint, rather than simply leave a customer without an explanation.

I will update this review again if Dior responds to my complaint

Still no reply for supposedly a prestigious brand and the price tag you definitely would expect better perfect customer service, it’s not like your purchasing from a bargain basement

No tracking ref provided and delivery yet to come 10 days later

Ordered a wedding gift for my sister 10 days ago - despite saying next day delivery and the money leaving my account, an invoice landing in my email and a confirmation email to confirm - the parcel is still yet to show up. In the email also I was not provided a tracking number for DPD. When I try to use Dior’s tracking service, it tells me my email or order number doesn’t exist!! I have tried to call up at 6pm - number says customer service is unavailable, despite their online site stating they’re open! Have no idea how to resolve this. A lot of money to pay for an item that’s yet to be received, very upsetting as I just wanted to give my sister a luxury gift for her wedding

Ignored by customer service after severe allergic reaction to bronzing stick

Dior customer service has been completely unresponsive. I purchased a bronzing stick that looks lovely, but upon application, it caused an immediate red, itchy rash and irritation.

I have emailed customer support four separate times to request a refund for a product that is unsafe and unfit for use, but I have received zero response. Ignoring customers who experience adverse skin reactions is completely unacceptable. I expect a prompt reply and a full refund immediately.

Defective Pump

After years of buying Dior products and loving them and being in search of a new foundation due to the terrible Estée Lauder reformulation, I decided to purchase a bottle Dior Forever Skin Wear.

The foundation itself is lovely but the pump is defective, on first use it sprayed the foundation in every direction, covering the carpet. I carried on using it in the hopes that it was user error but it happened again. It’s fairly expensive so I expected better but I understand that sometimes things get missed at quality control. I complained via their online form and was asked to provide photos and the batch number of the foundation. I did this and was then asked to return the whole bottle. I couldn’t do this as I was using the foundation and I made it clear that I only wanted a replacement pump, not a whole new bottle. Feeling I was getting nowhere, I decanted the foundation into another and carried on using it.

I ran out of the first bottle, which wasn’t my exact shade, so I deceived to order another bottle but in a lighter shade, thinking that there was no way this one would do the same as it was a different shade and a different batch. Sadly, this one does exactly the same and my carpet has again been covered in foundation, wasting so much product. There is obviously a big issue with their bottle/pump mechanism and I feel that it needs to be addressed. Reading other reviews, I highly doubt I will even get a response let alone a solution but I feel it’s worth warning people.

Beware returning a handbag by mail, take photos!

I purchased a handbag from the online store. I returned it in the same condition I received it in, tags, protective stickers and cloth bags attached. My return was rejected because they claimed the interior showed signs of use. I never used this bag. The black suede interior picked up tiny fibers from the dust bag. Take photos when you receive the bag and before you return it.
UPDATE: I was able to speak with a supervisor who shared photos of 3 areas with small flaws and clarified they did not conclude I had used the bag. I appreciated him communicating with me and giving me the benefit of the doubt about when this damage occurred. In retrospect I should have carefully examined the bag as soon as I received it and notified Dior of any small defect. These bags are expected to be perfect when received and when returned.

Mile sneakers

First time ordering online from Dior and it was flawless. Every so often there is something you see that you really want, you can't take your eyes off it, and you know how it ends up. They've knocked it out of the park with the white and blue Mile sneakers, far smarter looking than the B30s and still comfy.
