Value vs Price
In my opinion, there is no such thing as discounted silver or gold. Premiums can change significantly between dealers, but the metal does not, and you are buying metal, hopefully for a long-term (5-10 years) investment. IMO, the primary focus should be on product quality, liquidity, and above all, making sure the product is "genuine". With Apmex, all of these are a given. In fact, I've honestly found that whenever I've shown buyers that my products are from Apmex, there is often an instant recognition. They instinctively know that the products are genuine, good quality, and they tend to buy them with less discussion. Apmex's ethics and standards are well-known throughout the serious investing community..
In short, buying metal based on the lowest advertised price from a little--known dealer with unknown reputability may not be a wise decision for a long-term, high-value investment.

Sold coins but was never paid
I sold several dozen silver coins to APMEX and received notification the payment had been approved and processed. However, after 5 days the payment had not arrived at my bank. I called my bank and they verified the payment had been sent, but the ACH number was missing a number thus getting rejected. I have since called APMEX customer service multiple times asking for the payment to be resent only to be told it's an accounting issue and they would escalate the problem. I'm not out silver coins and my money. Terrible customer service and thieves.
