I’ve dealt with their customer service twice now. Honestly, it’s one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a brand. The team is incredibly kind, very attentive, and always finds a solution to make the customer happy. Thank you!
Cumstomer and delivery service helped me to corrent my cargo thanx a lot
I don’t think paying €300 for this image quality is the right choice.

Quality is good. However, from time to time the remote will not pair the projector after I turn it off for a few days. Need to unplug the projector for a several times before the remote pairs the machine again.

The overall experience was smooth and easy.
The product is effortlessly amazing. It’s literally plug and play, love it
I purchased a Horizon Ultra about 2 years ago just after it had been released; it has run flawlessly ever since and I have nothing to complain about.
Disappointing reliability — especially for elderly users
I originally bought the XGIMI MoGo 2 in the U.S. specifically for my elderly father, whose eyesight has deteriorated with age. The idea was simple: a projector would give him a much larger image and make watching TV and other content more comfortable.
Unfortunately, he found it hard to operate, so it was used only a handful of times before going into storage. When I tried to use it again 2 years later, the image initially displayed normally. While I was navigating the system settings and adjusting the display resolution/scale, the image gradually turned into full-screen static and became unusable. There was no drop, impact, or physical damage.
I contacted XGIMI support and spent considerable time troubleshooting. To be fair, the customer service representatives were polite, responsive, and followed up consistently. I appreciate that.
However, the proposed solution was very disappointing. Since the MoGo 2 is out of warranty and discontinued, XGIMI offered to send me another MoGo 2 for $205. The replacement would not be new; they explained it would typically be a previously returned unit that had been inspected and confirmed functional. It would come with a 90-day warranty and a 30-day return/refund option if it failed again.
I decided not to proceed.
What disappoints me most is that this product was purchased with an elderly user in mind. As populations age, making technology accessible and easy to use for seniors is becoming increasingly important. Unfortunately, my experience was that the product was not particularly senior-friendly in operation, and its reliability was also disappointing.
I understand that my original unit was out of warranty, and I was not expecting a free replacement indefinitely. But paying $205 for a non-new replacement of a discontinued projector that failed after very limited use was not reasonable enough for me to accept. For comparison, XGIMI's own US store lists a Certified Refurbished MoGo 2 at $159 with the same warranty as a new unit, and the last new price was $249.99.
- Customer service: Good.
- Ease of use for elderly users: Disappointing.
- Product reliability: Very disappointing.
- $205 for a non-new replacement: Not worth the risk.
I am sharing this review because, while the MoGo 2 is discontinued, this experience has affected my willingness to purchase another XGIMI product. As more families buy tech for aging parents, I hope XGIMI will take product reliability and ease of use for elderly customers more seriously in future generations.

the mogo 4 is wonderful! I use it in my dorm and the picture is clear and it is so easy to use and set up
The XGIMI Flip 4K is our first projector. While we were initially hesitant to spend this much on a projector, a comparable TV at this size would have been significantly more expensive. Our doubts turned out to be completely unfounded. The device feels well-made and has exceeded our expectations.
The image quality is excellent. The built-in speakers are adequate, but I would recommend using a separate audio device. We connected a Samsung soundbar via Bluetooth, which works very well. So far, we have mainly used the projector with 4K content, and the picture quality is impressive. Considering that you can easily scale the image beyond 100 inches, it really does provide a proper cinema-like experience.
The Flip itself is surprisingly small and easy to carry around. The handle also doubles as a small stand, and there is a standard tripod mount if you want more flexibility. The image size and position can also be adjusted digitally, so you have quite a bit of freedom when setting it up.
A few things are worth keeping in mind. Using Google TV requires an internet connection and a linked Google account. You need to sign in if you want to download apps. However, the projector can still be used completely independently via HDMI, which is how I initially set it up.
The automatic keystone correction and image adjustment could definitely be improved, although I understand the technical limitations of a device this compact. We don't have a dedicated projector screen because our walls are completely smooth. Our projected image sits between two large IKEA shelves, and the automatic adjustment does not reliably detect the available edges and corners.
I recommend adjusting the image manually. The manual settings are straightforward, and you can easily correct the proportions, position, and size of the image yourself. If you don't move the projector to a different position every time you use it, you can simply set it up once and leave the settings as they are.
I had a positive experience with customer service. After placing the order, I realized that the projector was going to be shipped to my old address. I contacted support, and they were able to update the delivery address in time without any issues
Excellent value for money! We loved the projector and continue to use it everyday without any issues.
