I had high expectations for Vincere…
I had high expectations for Vincere Trading. I have traded on and off for more than 20 years and was optimistic that their algorithmic approach would produce consistent results. The staff was professional, responsive, and pleasant to work with throughout the process.
Unfortunately, after three months, I saw essentially no meaningful investment performance. In hindsight, I should have been more cautious when I learned that even my initial contact mentioned his own mother's prop firm challenge had not yet reached its objectives.
During the same three-month period, the broader market generally trended upward. I expected the firm's algorithms to capture at least some of those gains. Instead, the proprietary trading account balances fluctuated within a relatively narrow range before eventually disappearing. The performance fell well short of both my expectations and the historical results presented by the company.
Whenever I expressed concerns, I was consistently advised to "wait." My concern is straightforward: if the algorithms are unable to generate positive performance during a favorable market environment, it raises legitimate questions about the market conditions under which they are expected to succeed.
I was also disappointed by the lack of transparency. There was no practical way to communicate with or compare results with other investors, making it impossible to determine whether my experience was typical or an exception. Public feedback from investors also appears to be limited, which did little to increase my confidence.
One point of disagreement involved the trading schedule. I chose to have trades executed daily rather than only on selected days because I did not see a compelling reason to limit trading frequency. I was left with the impression that extending the timeline delayed any meaningful evaluation of the strategy's effectiveness, although I recognize others may view this differently.
While my interactions with the staff were consistently positive, investment performance is ultimately what matters most. Based on my experience, the results did not meet expectations, and the lack of transparency made it difficult to independently assess the program. For those reasons, I cannot recommend Vincere Trading.
