Stay clear of this company!
After the initlal meeting with Adam, everything was very good. We purchased our new car after reporting a problem with one of the tyres.
They replaced it before we picked it up and was happy with our first EV purchase from them.
That's where the good news ends I am afraid, after suffering handling issues I find out the tyre they fitted is incorrect for the type of vehicle. This left us driving a dangerous car with my family in which was unfit for the roads and technically illegal.
I was asked to leave the car for them to check and replace the tyre with a suitable one.
Imagine my surprise when the car reports it is on the move at 7pm and is currently being driven at 101mph...!
Obviously I get no answer from them at that time of the evening, so I wait until the following day only to find my car is being used now to drop their kids off at school..!
To be fair again to Adam he called to apologise for how the car was treated and then offered budget replacement tyres on a high performance car and if I wanted anything better I had to pay the difference.
I agreed to the tyres and was even pleasantly surprised he offered to have it delivered back to my office.
So, surely they have learnt their lesson here, but no, the car was clocked again at 92.8mph on the way to me, to which I get 'apologies once again' from Adam.
If they do this to their clients cars then I dread to think how they treat the rest of them.
Update 29/6/26
They have now had my car back for over 48 hours to be checked and they haven't even bothered taking it out to see what the problem is despite saying 'give us 1 or 2 days'
The fight is now on to get my money back!
If you are thinking of buying a car from Coalville Motor Company Ltd I would seriously advise you look elsewhere.
They do not appear to be a member of any motoring body so complaints escalation is very limited to trading standards.
