Stay away from Tchibo! They do not deliver the products properly and the service is miserable!
On August 2, 2026, we ordered the “Elin” lounge set (214431). Subsequently, on August 7, 2026, we received only half of the lounge set (just half of the sofa, no legs, and no table). The shipping company Rhenus stated that they had received only two packages, and the delivery slip also read “2/2 packages.” After contacting your customer service several times, we were told to wait and see if the third package would still arrive (against our better judgment, we did just that).
As expected, the rest of the set was never delivered, and we contacted Tchibo again on August 24, 2026. This time, we were told that the set was no longer in stock and that we would need to specify which parts were missing; you would then send those parts to us. We waited weeks for this as well, and to this day, nothing else has been delivered—we’ve had enough.
11 weeks have now passed, and we still have a large box containing half a lounge set sitting in our living room. And we haven’t heard anything from you. 2 attempts to pick-up the set have failed. Attempt 1: you sent DHL to the invoice address and not the delivery address. Attempt 2: DHL came but they were not given labels, nor were we. So he could not take the package.
To this day we still haven't gotten our money back so this is all a terrible experience. You should not treat your customers like this and you should really be ashamed of yourself!
ADDITION 28-10-26
DHL came again for the 3rd attempt. This time the man again did not have labels even though he was told "no labels". In addition he said the package was too big to be picked up. Why on earth does Tchibo use Rhenus (big cargo shipper) for delivery but yet for pickups DHL?
Hopefully tomorrow a DHL colleague comes as the deliveryman promised today.. We are so sick of this whole situation.
ADDITION 29-10-26
Today DHL's deliveryman who was there the 2nd attempt as well came by with both the labels printed and he actually picked up the half set!!!
Now hopefully we get the money back soon. It's been more three months now...

Behind that cute looking products in store, there is an extremely unfriendly insufficient service customer. A real disaster.
I ordered 4 items 1-2 months ago and returned 3.
Bestellnummer: 700628809
Bestelldatum: 06.05.2026
After over one month ago, despite confirming that they have the return products, they did NOT paid my own money back!!! At least 10 times I called them and wrote mails. Always lies, unaccountable extremely negative experience. The last time I did buy something from this company!
*Tchibo, your recent Trustpilot response is completely false. Claiming I "just recently" provided my IBAN to excuse your two-month refund delay is a blatant lie—I sent it to your customer service multiple times weeks ago.
Worse, despite your deceptive public posturing, my money STILL has not been returned. This proves your customer service is not only grossly inefficient, but fundamentally dishonest and untrustworthy. Refund my money immediately!*

UPDATE [1] 23.06.2026: Tchibo just apologizes in the form of a text message, and no mention of replacement of this unhealthy coffee is present. How Is Tchibo planning to deliver better coffee when this is what you get when you order, or are they just asking me to play their rancid coffee lottery again?

Tchibo delivers near-expiry and tasteless and near-toxic coffee despite me specifically telling them not to.
About two weeks ago, I have ordered 2x 500g coffee beans from tchibo website. There was no place to leave an orderer's note so I have called the customer hotline and told my coffee to be fresh and produced recently.
Despite that when the coffee arrived the coffee was very close the expiry date, It had absolutely none of that fresh smell. It was stale, bitter (way too bitter for a coffee) moist and the taste was ridiculously bad and has made me ill after drinking it.
Why is tchibo not putting importance on the conditions their coffee is stored? I can find newly roasted coffee on supermarkets but when I order from them I recieve moist and stale coffee?
Also the shipping arrived 5 days later than expected.
I want my coffee replaced with freshly roasted beans because this coffee is undrinkable.

LAST UPDATE: After updating my review and contacting support again, a customer service representative handled my case personally. She was extremely understanding, apologized for the system errors, and canceled the invoice completely. They even let me keep the water tank as a courtesy. I am very satisfied with this quick and fair solution!
PREVIOUS UPDATE: The comedy of errors continues. I finally received an automated email regarding the "return label." Unbelievably, instead of sending a standard return label to cancel the invoice for the spare part, Tchibo's broken system generated a warranty repair order for a defective appliance! They are now asking me to ship my entire coffee machine for repairs and threatening to charge me a €35 processing fee if I don't provide a warranty slip. I don't want a repair. I want to return a €11 piece of plastic because your customer service is incompetent. This is an absolute circus.
Edit: Tchibo's response attempts to dismiss my legitimate grievance as if I am making a fuss over less than €5. This condescending "stop crying over €5 and good luck next time" attitude is deeply humiliating and shows exactly how little Tchibo respects its customers. The issue is not the amount; it is your broken system, your ignored emails, and the automated legal threats (Mahnungen) you sent me that threatened to affect my credit score over your own mistake.
Tchibo’s public response is a masterclass in corporate arrogance and gaslighting. By casually stating that the fee "was apparently not communicated," you are not only lying to cover up your internal mess, but you are also publicly belittling my experience.
Let me be perfectly clear: it was communicated, and it was documented. I hold an official email from your agent, Diellza, explicitly stating: "The invoice with the additional shipping costs of €4.95 was a mistake on our part – we will make sure you receive a corrected invoice for €11.50."
Furthermore, the issue is far from resolved. No corrected invoice was ever sent, and after deciding to simply return this piece of plastic to sever all ties with you, the prepaid return label promised by Sofia has still not arrived. The Tchibo nightmare truly never ends.
You closed your message by hoping to provide a better experience "next time." Rest assured: there will certainly not be a next time.
A new tchibo coffee machine with 20 capsules costs 25€ or less, but in prol of the environment I decided to ask Tchibo if they would happen to have the water tank replacement piece. They did and it costs 11€ without the lid. Expensive, but I accepted. They sent, everything was doing great, until they charged me 16€
I complained and they apologized… they said they would send a new invoice. They didn’t , instead, I just got 3 more charging me the 16€ and giving me the ultimatum! They stopped answering the emails.
I am truly regretted! I tried to do something good for the environment and Tchibo made it into a nightmare!
I want to send the item back, pay nothing and throw my Tchibo machine in the trash! Worst experience ever!

Converted our Wunschgutschein into Tchibo vouchers and purchased online. We returned two items because they were too small and the credit went back to our Tcibo account. Now we have a credit that we cannot use both online or in-store. The app and the store dont recognise the credit when purchasing. Wasted money, we will never buy from Tchibo again.
I bought a milk foamer from them. It broke after less than two months of usage. Their webiste to generate a return label to have it repaired is broken and speaking to a human seems impossible on the phone.
When you write an email, a bot just replies to you to use their link (which does not work as intended). If you finally manage, after 12 messages to get someone to answer your support ticket asking you to send the rechnung to send you a shipping label, when you reply another person will just answer with the templated response, completely unaware of the context of the conversation.
At this point, I wasted over 3 hours sending emails and calling, and prefer filing a customer complaint via post but it must be the worse customer service experience I ever had.
They have such a unique mix of coffee and household goods that you just don't find anywhere else. It's like a little treasure trove every time I walk in.
What an incredibly bad company—real scammers!
Some time ago, I bought two expensive Qbo coffee machines (a brand of Tchibo). These machines use capsule recognition to brew the perfect coffee.
Two weeks ago, I bought new capsules at a Tchibo store, but when I tried to use them, the machine didn’t recognize them, making them unusable. After searching online, I found a website explaining that Tchibo had stopped printing the dot pattern on the capsules, meaning Qbo machines can no longer read them. Tchibo never communicated this to me, so I had no idea. On top of that, there is almost no information about this on their website.
Now, I have two machines and a stock of capsules that I can no longer use, with a total loss of more than €600!
I contacted Tchibo customer service about this, and they quickly offered a reasonable solution. I also read on their website that they provide a good resolution. They offered to exchange the two machines for a new (but much simpler) model. Not the best solution, but okay—it seemed like a fair deal. After providing all the requested information, I was assured that the machines would be exchanged.
However, two days later, I received a message from another employee saying they no longer exchange machines, they don’t accept returns for coffee capsules, and that I was simply out of luck.
So, despite receiving confirmation from customer service twice and the promise on their website, I’m left with nothing. Now, I have two machines and a large stock of capsules, but I can’t use either in any way.
I emailed them twice more, explaining that I had received the promise three times, but they simply stopped responding. Truly scammers!
Thanks to Tchibo, I’ve lost approximately €600, and they refuse to do anything or even reply. Total fraudsters!
Super unhelpful customer service.
This company scam i don't recommend it for no one because internet bad to much service bad the say ja ja ja and thy are stupid i have contact i can wiat to go 2 company thy stole 40€ from bank account and the say its from me and and and. I had the worst possible experience with online shopping ever by shopping at Tchibo. I ordered a couple of pillows and fist, they were shipped separately and it took more than 5 weeks to get them both despite the lead time of about 1-2 weeks offered on the website. Also tracking was not correct and I never knew when the would arrive. After receiving them, unfortunately they were too ridgid, so I returned them according the return policy.
It has been now three months and despite multiple attempts to claim my money back, they keep saying that they will look into it, that they will contact the vendor, etc., etc. I contacted the merchant of the pillows directly, which confirmed the goods were returned property, but that I needed to settle donm the reimbursement with Tchibo. The fact is I still do not have my money back. For this reason, I strongly not recommend this company for online shipping. It is not reliable at all
Horrible experience with online shopping. Tchibo have just bad system of placing the order, receiving payment and dispatching. Emails to customers are badly timed, with misleading info. I just can not believe the mess
I ordered kids clothes from their website, with the option to pick them up from one of their physical stores. When i received the email confirmation that the order is ready to be picked up, I went to the store but surprise, the order was not there. They told me come next day. I went next day, just before closing times to make sure there is enough time for the order to arrive but, again, the order didn’t arrive. The staff just told me to come another day. What a lack of professionalism and respect towards customers.
The most unorganized clothing store in the planet.
I bought some clothes at the company online. They didn't manage to withdraw the money and later they send a later requiring payment. I received the letter when the payment was already expired.
The amount was 85 euros, I paid 100 euros already to avoid problem. I sent the receipt for them.
One month later they freaking sending a letter saying that my name was in some kind of debt instution. I send another email proving that I paid and they apologize for the mistake.
Another freaking month later, they come again asking for money.
I buy my coffee from Thcibo and it always has very fast shipment and products are well protected.
I have been a Tchibo customer for not so long, only since April 2020 after moving to Germany. Ever since then, I have always been satisfied with Tchibo, expecially with their customer service team. I mostly shop online and they do their job perfectly and with respect. I feel that I can rely on them and can shop with Tchibo without any worries. I believe it is something Tchibo customer service team should be proud of as it is very rare to receive such fair and customer-oriented service here in Germany. For that, they definitely deserve 5 stars from me :)
Extremely unreliable with products that came dirty
Sometimes not even coming at all
Very bad quality
Have a Tchibo Bean to Brew that stopped working. No customer service, their number on their website doesn't work and no response from the emails I sent. DO NOT BUY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a large quantity (240 pcs) of coffee capsules, but I received an expired product. There were 3 months left from the best before date.
