Visible
I currently use Visible after switching from my last provider. I haven’t had any issues with calling, texting or surfing the web. Even got a discount on my plan for the rest of the year. Thanks Visible!
Not acceptable for night shift
It worked fine during the day but I worked nights. Between midnight and 4am every single day the service would become so terrible I couldn't do anything with it. I ended up switching to metro and don't have that problem anymore.
I switched to Visible by Verizon…
I switched to Visible by Verizon earlier this year because it was a cheaper alternative to having my own Verizon line. Since it uses Verizon’s network, the actual cell service has been great and generally feels the same.
Unfortunately, my experience with customer service completely changed my opinion. I upgraded to the latest iPhone through Visible, traded in my old phone, and the brand-new phone they sent me arrived broken.
I spent almost TWO HOURS chatting with customer service — first going through AI and then finally reaching a representative named Kristie. After all that troubleshooting, they determined the phone needed to be replaced. Their solution? I have to send the broken phone back before they will send me a new one, meaning I could be without a phone for several days.
The other “solutions” offered were to go to an Apple Store, call Apple myself, or use an old phone if I happened to have one. I found that pretty ridiculous considering I purchased the phone FROM VISIBLE. Why should I have to go to Apple or find another phone because Visible sent me a defective one?
Kristie repeatedly said she would speak with management, but ultimately nothing was done besides repeating that this was their policy.
Visible is cheaper and the actual Verizon service is good, but apparently the tradeoff is customer service when something goes wrong. I was happy with Visible until I actually needed their help. After this experience, I’m already looking at switching carriers.
Highly Recommended
After more than a year with Visible+, I've been having a great time.
I moved from post paid Verizon to Visible and it's arguably quite similar at roughly half the price. Yeah, you lose out on some of the niceties like the included subscriptions, rewards program and all that, but as far as daily performance and reliability goes it's fantastic.
The only difference I would point out is that if you're trying to do more specialized things like remote into your home network over cellular data and game on it, you might run into some manageable friction. But with normal use I am more than happy saving over $50/m.
There is no customer service
The sim card purchased from Best Buy could not be activated. The process went in a circle, only allowing a new one to be mailed to me. The app does not allow any interaction and only provides a set number of actions none of which were helpful. There is no actual human to talk to and their Bot does not understand your questions. If you actually succeed in activating service, you better hope you never need customer service. There is no customer service.
Look some where else it wouldn’t charge…
Look some where else it wouldn’t charge my Apple Pay tried like 5 times after that I’m going g to another carrier
Everything is very good
Everything is very good, just basing my review on the cell signal coverage. As an over the road trucker signal seems to be good everywhere except for when passing thru certain areas in Montana, Wyoming and Washington.
I am being held hostage by Visible
I am being held hostage by Visible. Obviously since I bought a phone through Visible, which is totally paid off, between Jan and Jun 2026 there is no way to unlock my phone before 365 days pf service. I have to move overseas for three month and need a local phone #/SIM. there is no way I can use my own phone as it is locked by Visible. I was planning to stop Visible and then go back on it when I am back. Now I will just wait until 365 days are over and not use Visible/Verizon. Btw. Global pass for 90 days would cost me over $ 900. I would get a real good second phone for that price.
Would not recommend visible, does 300 a month to use internationally
Would not recommend, they give you a phone locked to visible for a year after charging full price for the phone, if you have to travel they charge you $10 a day to use service their service international, which equals $300 a month to use the phone internationally, bad policies, they can put in danger when traveling by not having a phone to use and they are not willing to unlock to help you out.
I spent nearly two hours trying to…
I spent nearly two hours trying to become a Visible customer, but received conflicting information, repeated scripted responses, and no resolution. One representative even instructed me to change an unrelated security setting on my phone. Verizon confirmed that my device is unlocked, yet Visible repeatedly referred me back to Verizon instead of addressing its own system error. This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing customer service experience.
I appreciate the savings but you do get…
I appreciate the savings but you do get what you pay for. Generally poor coverage in my area. I recently used their global pass in England, and coverage was even worse, and I was unable to make calls (messaging and data worked). And of course there's no way to directly contact customer service.
over 2 weeks with no service(17 days)
over 2 weeks with no service(17 days), cant make or get calls. they said 24 hours the 1st day. then it was 2-3 days, then its 2-3 business days, nothing has been resolved and they haven't done anything to fix it. changing carriers because how can they justify charging for no service
Buyer Beware
Terms per package are ambiguous and customer service is a joke. I was only able to get a 50% discount/credit for a package that I didn't need after having to use their customer service chat options and asking to speak with a supervisor. They do not have any physical persons to speak with and I believe that my initial contact was with a bot or some other AI entity. I will continue to research their legal claims as well as their legal standing. They have declined to be a part of the BBB, which is a significant Red Flag. Hold Visible accountable.
Issues with voicemail
Issues with voicemail. Spent over 1 hr with an agent via chat to resolve. Never resolved and never received a callback from them as promised. I asked the rep several times to just call me, with no luck.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
Time to port out to another carrier. I need voicemail.
I switched to Visible because the $19…
I switched to Visible because the $19 monthly price represents significant savings, and the cellular service itself appears to work well. Unfortunately, my first customer-service experience was terrible.
I simply wanted carrier-provided voicemail disabled. This basic request took nearly two hours, multiple explanations, irrelevant troubleshooting instructions, and eventually escalation to an internal team before Visible finally disabled it on their end.
The individual agent was courteous, but Visible's support system did not provide the agent with the tools or resources needed to resolve a simple request efficiently. At one point, after the lengthy delay, I was even asked to “understand our perspective as well.”
Customers' time has value. A simple carrier-level account change should take minutes, not nearly two hours. Great price so far, but Visible needs to seriously improve its customer-support process.
customer service
a customer service representative told me my phone was locked when it wasn't, so I called back and got a new representative and she informed me that my phone was not unlocked. y'all just among things up to tell your customers.
Price seems good BUT the service in…
Price seems good BUT the service in Cammarillo, CA is fair to non existent in many parts of the city. I tried it for 2 weeks and finally switched to T-Mobile.
Also, FORGET about getting any help when you need it! There are no customer service reps.. period! Customer service is a "bot" who can't understand most issues let alone help fix the issue.
Horrible cell phone service in my area.
Visible+blew me away
Visible+blew me away! Free hot spot with no data buckets.cable cord cut. I upgraded to the second tier plan, Visible+, and I am so glad I did. The mobile hotspot feels very fast for movies on tv. The best part is that the hotspot included for free with absolutely no data buckets, so it never cuts me off. To be honest, I am shocked by the quality - this service is much better than any other Carrier I've used in the past. Thank you, Visible, for providing such an awesome plan! 👍
