Once I found the prop I was looking for, I received a discount on the price. I made the order and received the product a day early. It was properly packaged. I was able to install with no issues and ran the prop for a day. No issues and the prop increased my speed. Gave 5 stars for these reasons, however, I can't speak for longevity of the prop at this point.

After spending a whole season on the water, I'm impressed with an aftermarket propeller, despite my initial misgivings. It feels a bit more fuel-efficient than my last prop, and the polish is superb.

When I ordered a stainless steel prop for my Mercury outboard, I honestly didn't expect this level of quality for the price. Installing it was easy, and it functions exactly like the original prop I replaced.

Shipping was the fastest I e ever seen ! And price was great and prop does a great job !

So, I needed a prop and I had friends coming into town to fish so I didn’t have a month to figure it out. I reached out to VIF for advice getting the right prop. After a few days with no response I took a chance and chose a prop based on pictures since the only data they offered was pitch and diameter. Nothing about blade rake, cupping or any other criteria that factor in to a props performance.
The day after I order it I get an email saying it probably wasn’t what I was looking for so I asked them to freeze shipping it. They did not.
After it arrived, I could see that it was too similar to other props that didn’t work so I asked for return authorization but it never came. So now what? I eat this $180 prop because they won’t respond to me?

Worst customer service ever and wholly incomplete web site with not enough info for anyone to actually make a reasonable choice about a boat prop. I would say it was my mistake to buy from them but one email within 4 days of my initial request for information and this never happens. I feel baited and hooked (pun intended) and VIF is clearly not a legitimate business. Just a Chinese prop mill tossing junk out to anyone dumb enough to trust them. I tried to call by phone, answer was in Chinese. No help there. And no, I don’t dislike Chinese people, but if you’re doing business here you should be able to communicate with customers. It shouldn’t take 4/5 days for a response to each email. A week has passed since I asked for return info, crickets.

Customer Service has reached out and I am correcting this even though the delayed response was frustrating. They did deliver the prop quickly, but they are working on faster communication when something goes wrong.

They let me send back a prop that has been used once. I had ordered wrong size. Nobody does that! Purchased 3 more!

Great product well made

Wrong hub and props come with no nut nor the proper place to seat the hub to the shaft. Tried to return but got no response for months. Finally they contact and apologize for the delay. They issue me a return on the falsely described items but provide no shipping labels. It was going to cost me 2/3 what I paid with shipping to get them returned so I have some interesting paperweights for the RV but no props for my boat! Will never do business with these Charleston’s again. Everything about this Chinese knock off is sketchy. The props are very cheaply manufactured and very fragile. They are not balanced well and vibrate your shaft and gears. If you want to buy a new lower unit for your motor use these props.
