If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do not trust VeePN with your money. This company will hold your approved refund hostage, blackmail you, and then their own management will admit their staff made up the rules. Here is the exact timeline of their scam:
1. The Extortion: After approving my refund, I opened a PayPal dispute to secure the transaction. VeePN support immediately held my money hostage. For a week, they sent ultimatums demanding I manually close the dispute (which permanently voids PayPal Buyer Protection) before they would pay me. They repeatedly lied, claiming their "rules" and "system limitations" made it technically impossible to refund me during an active dispute.
2. The Forced Refund: I refused to be bullied into giving up my protection. Because of this, PayPal intervened and forced the refund from VeePN's account on August 28th. VeePN then hilariously tried to take credit for this, claiming they issued it "as an exception."
3. The Official Confession: I escalated the issue, and today, their "Senior Support Lead" (Emily) officially admitted in writing that there is NO clause in their terms preventing a refund during a dispute. She also admitted they eventually "verified" they could just use the standard PayPal refund button.
This means one of two things: VeePN’s frontline agents are either shockingly incompetent and don’t know how to use basic PayPal merchant tools, or they are deliberately instructed to lie, fabricate rules, and extort customers.
When I asked the Senior Lead directly why they instructed me to violate PayPal's safety guidelines and drop my payment protection, she completely dodged the question. They know they are in the wrong.
Every single manipulative email has been forwarded to PayPal's Merchant Risk and Compliance Team. Save your nerves and your money. Avoid this deceitful company at all costs.
UPDATE: The Corporate Circus Continues — They Can't Even Coordinate Their Lies!
VeePN's latest public reply from "Natalie" below is the perfect proof of this company's absolute incompetence. She just publicly contradicted her own Senior Support Lead, Emily!
Let’s look at the facts:
1. THE FAKE POLICY:
Natalie (Publicly below): Claims they asked me to close the dispute based on their "refund policy and Terms of Service."
Emily, Senior Support Lead (Privately on Sep 2): Officially admitted to me in writing: "There is no clause stating that opening a dispute voids an approved refund."
Conclusion: Natalie is publicly lying about rules that her own boss admitted don't exist.
2. WHO FORCED THE REFUND:
Emily, Senior Support Lead (Privately on Aug 30): Lied to me, claiming: "We decided that, as an exception, it would be fair to issue a refund."
Natalie (Publicly below): Finally admits the truth! She states: "PayPal reviewed the case and made its decision... we were unable to influence or change that decision."
Conclusion: Thank you, Natalie, for publicly confirming that Emily lied! You just admitted that PayPal forced the refund on you and you had zero control over it.
VeePN’s left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. One manager makes up fake rules, the other admits they don't exist. One manager claims they refunded me out of kindness, the other admits PayPal forced their hand.
This is not a professional service; it is an absolute circus. Do not give them your credit card details!
UPDATE TO THEIR LATEST REPLY: The Circus Continues! They deleted their previous response!
Notice how VeePN just deleted their previous public reply from "Natalie" and replaced it with a new one from "Denise"? They are panicking because their lies are falling apart. Let’s destroy this new lie too:
1. The Fake Policy Excuse: Denise now quotes a rule saying a refund is voided if a dispute is opened BEFORE contacting support. But as I already stated, I contacted your support FIRST. Your support approved my refund in writing. I only opened the dispute afterwards because you held my money hostage. Your own rule proves I was right!
2. The Fake Timeline: Denise claims the dispute popped up "while we tried to process your refund." Stop lying. You held my money for a week, explicitly blackmailing me in private emails to close the dispute before you would pay. You weren't "trying" to process anything.
3. The Fake Resolution: Denise claims "we approved the refund." WRONG. I have the official email from PayPal stating THEY forced the refund and closed the case in my favor on August 28th.
How many different agents (Emily, Natalie, Denise) are going to try to rewrite history? Stop lying to your customers. Everyone can see you changing your stories!

Easy to connect and speed is also very good..
Avoid at all costs! A scam, I am one of the hundreds complaining about the auto renewal. They will not provide refund! They are using fake reviews on here, don't get fooled by these guys.
Reply from VeePN
They are misleading. After being a customer of two years , they auto renewed me by another two years without informing me in advanced. I tried cancelling same day I saw the auto renewal and they refused. Yet as a new user get a free trial. Makes no sense. Avoid this service at all costs!

Scammers and blackmailers. If you are thinking of using this service and relying on their "30-Day Money-Back Guarantee", DO NOT even try. It is a complete extortion scheme.
I followed their rules perfectly and did not violate the "VeePN Terms of Service" in any way. I requested a refund, and their support actually approved it in writing. Strictly AFTER contacting their support, I opened a PayPal dispute to secure my transaction. Their own policy explicitly states: "Initiating a dispute, chargeback, or similar procedure through a payment provider before contacting Support automatically voids the Money-Back Guarantee." Since I contacted them FIRST, my guarantee remains fully valid. There is absolutely NO other mention in their entire Terms stating that an open PayPal dispute contradicts their refund policy.
Instead of simply clicking the "Issue Refund" button in the PayPal resolution center, they took my money hostage. They are blatantly blackmailing me, demanding that I manually close the PayPal dispute BEFORE they return the money. Official PayPal safety guidelines explicitly warn users NEVER to close a dispute until the money is in your account. VeePN is actively coercing me into violating PayPal's core security rules just to strip me of my Buyer Protection!
Furthermore, VeePN is violating their own legal terms by inventing fake rules via email support. Their ToS clearly states: "Anything contained in or delivered through the Service that is inconsistent with or conflicts with the terms of this Agreement is superseded by the terms of this Agreement." Yet, they completely ignore their own legally binding agreement just to extort me.
Now, watch exactly what happens next. A "support agent"—probably Natalie, Lora, Emily, or Amy—will reply to this review with a copied-and-pasted PR template. They will try to defend themselves by claiming they are a "legitimate VPN provider," swear they "do not engage in deceptive practices," assure you they don't use "fabricated identities," and boldly state they have "escalated your case to the appropriate team."
PLEASE KNOW that this is 100% a lie to cover up their blackmail. Do not fall for their extortion, save your money, and stay far away from this scam!
🚨 UPDATE (Look at their reply below!):
This is exactly what I warned you about! I literally quoted their own Terms of Service in my review, proving that an open dispute does NOT prevent an approved refund. And what do they do? A bot named "Lora" automatically replies with the exact same lie: "This is outlined in our Terms."
NO, LORA, IT IS NOT. Read your own legal documents! This mindless, automated copy-paste response is 100% proof that they don't even read customer complaints. They just use bots to spread lies, manipulate public ratings, and hold your money hostage. Let this be a warning to everyone: their support is completely fake.
