I purchased Tinder Gold after being shown two “likes” that appeared within my match range. Once I paid, I discovered both accounts were located thousands of miles away — completely outside my set distance preferences. This is a clear misrepresentation of material fact, as the app induced payment based on false proximity information.
When I requested a refund through Apple, it was denied. I then contacted Tinder directly, citing Apple’s developer‑initiated refund policy. Tinder repeatedly deflected responsibility, insisting Apple alone handles refunds, even though developers can override such denials. Their responses were generic templates that ignored the substance of my complaint.
This experience demonstrates Tinder’s predatory paywall tactics and refusal to assist customers misled by its own interface. Consumers deserve transparency, not bait‑and‑switch mechanics designed to trigger paid upgrades under false pretenses.

Had a bad experience before on this "dating" app but after months, jumped back in again and within 15 minutes, a lady i liked, matched (Vanessa Clare Wright) was the name she goes by. Supposedly an HR manager for the government in Northbridge. I am giving these details for a reason which will become clear. We texted back and forth for hours then she asked if we could speak as things were seemingly amazing, we clicked spoke for 90 minutes. Then next afternoon, no messages from her, completely disappeared. Now either she is a complete lunatic, or a paid participant with Tinder to get my to pay a subscription to see the 33 likes, i received. Pull the other 1, you space cadets at Match Group!!. Bunch of con merchants who if i for my hands on them, would spend many months sipping soup and pissing & shittng in a bag!!!. Bunch of crooks!!!

Useless costumer support! Got a glitch on my app, can’t access it or manage/delete my personal data! Extremely frustrating experience, I’ve sent endless emails and complaints, basically asking over and over again for a real help. Nothing has been done for days, I am sick of it.

NO QUALITY MEN maybe 1 out of 50 are halfway decent. My finger got a cramp from continuous swiping! I should had read their reviews before signing up but I canceled my subscription asap after I was thoroughly turned off !!!

A manipulative service designed to force users to purchase premium content and other features. Zero likes for a month, but a few days before the premium expires, likes and chats suddenly appear. Pure scam.Unfortunately, they suddenly disappear. In my opinion, this is a manipulation to extort money from users, and has nothing to do with a real dating site.

You pay a high price for something that is not even functional and there are no customer support, so you will stay stuck until you cancel. My settings were set for 150km max around me and Global were turned off, yet they keep on sending me profiles from abroad in which I have no interest in. So, I canceled straight away, but forget about a refund as there is no one to talk to. STUPID!!

Bought €60 in Superlikes because of one profile in which I had particular interest. Paid. System showed pyt went through. Re-clicked on profile. "Looks like this Superlike has expired. Please try again. " I did. Again and again. Does not work. I want my money back.

Subject: URGENT, Platinum account, undo like and block dangerous person

My account is registered with the email X and I have a Platinum subscription.

I have an urgent safety issue. By mistake I liked a person who is extremely dangerous to me. I want to undo that like and completely block this person immediately.

The problem: there is nowhere in the app a list of the people I have liked. I cannot see the history of likes I sent, which seems strange and makes me feel unsafe.

I urgently request:
1. Send me the list of the last 15 people I liked.
2. Undo the like to the dangerous person, or tell me exactly how to do it.
3. Confirm how I can permanently block this person so they can never match with me.

If this feature does not exist in the app, please intervene manually in my account, as an emergency.

This is a personal safety issue, so please treat this request as a priority.

First of all, if you sign up and give any dating sites your credit card info, your setting yourself up to be charged every month indefinitely, no matter how many times you try to cancel.
So that being said, DO NOT GIVE ANY DATING SITE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO.
You can start a profile for free and still browse profiles for free... You might have to wait awhile till there is a Match....meaning both of you hit the Heart/Like button..... At that point you will be notified you have a match and you can send messages back and forth to each other....
Yes, you have to wait but the dating site will not have access to your credit card which they think is a way to suck money out of you forever....
Now go browse and have fun with no stress of being charged a fee every month from these greedy unlawful corporations..

Nothing wrong with the platform. But I’ve been ripped off. Normally, you get your purchases refunded after you create a new account. Everything’s gone, and customer support says I’ve got nothing left. It’s just not true, but what can you do about it? I spent a lot of money, but they won’t give me back those few tens. Be warned. I admit it’s a bit of a matter of principle.

I was barely on here. They banned me...why? I have absolutely no clue and they didn't explain. When I appealed it, but had deleted it, the ban was reversed. I went back and it's banned again. These people are nuts. I can't offer an experience if what the site is like, because I never utilized it.

This app is an absolute con, avoid at all costs. I took out a 6 month subscription at significant cost and then found out you couldn’t message other people. Constant upselling to “boost” your profile - what are you paying for in the first place? Matches from people 6,000 miles away! This app is not designed to find a partner but to extract as much money as possible from you.
